Jack of All Trades
Killed an enemy with a science weapon sneak attack during TTD, with a weakspot critical hit.

How to unlock the Jack of All Trades achievement in The Outer Worlds - Definitive Guide
I based my method a lot on Doktor Zeit’s solution for “Tossball All-Star” -
The only variation I made was using the Prismatic Hammer found on Groundbreaker
and using TTD.
The only hangup might be with actually assuring that you hit the weakspot of the sprat. I got the achievement on my second kill after making sure I hit it’s head. It was looking right at me but the sneak attack still registered. It might have been a delayed pop, but you might have to swing at a few to assure you get it. You could potentially use another science weapon that’s easier to aim at but I did it with the hammer because it had the highest damage of all the science weapons I had at that point, even with my nonexistent melee skill.
Edit: Thanks to Reborn Insanity and YoDz who point out that there are sprat in the Rest-N-Go area right next door to where you pick up the hammer. If you happen to pick up the hammer after reading this you can attempt this about 20 feet from it. Just make sure to save before incase you don’t get it!
Edit 2: Credit to SpeleoFool for pointing out that Sneak Attacks require your sneak to be 20 or higher, so make sure your sneak is high enough!
“ These are melee weapons that resemble lacrosse sticks, you can find one of them very early to the right of the workbench in your ship. Passive creatures also count towards this, a lot of my kills came from Sprats, the little green lizard type animals. There are a few pockets of these alongside the outer walls of Edgewater, they will respawn after enough time has passed, if you crouch before killing them it will also count towards the 50 stealth kills achievement.”

OK - here's one for ya.
Sure, go to the C&P boarst factory. And yes - if you are not in there solo definitely put your companions out to pasture (hold, passive, etc.), before you head over to the lovely cystpigs.
But.... instead of wacking the piggies, I had another idea.
Remember the "bred worm" slithering around the pigsty in there?
Yeah, so I approached that worm (yes, in crouch mode), carefully aimed at its "head" entered TDD, verified "aim" was dead on the worm's "head" and gave it an acute (but mercifully quick) crushing head-ache with my trusty Prismatic hammer.
And... voila !! instaward !! "Jack of All Trades" cheevo popped.
I figured that worm was already blind - and it's clearly SUPER EZ killable - so why not give it a shot, right? Yeah, seems to work. First try. Boom. Done.

Craziest shit ever. It didn't work the first time but I tried on the second worm there … just took my time and made sure I had the aim was dead on the worm's head. Worked like a champ.

- First get the Prismatic Hammer (check guide HERE)
- Go to the C&P Boarst Factory "Cystypig Grind Spot" on Monarch
- either on a Cystypig or one of the small worms in the Factory, Crouch, use TTD and aim at their head.
*Make sure to just Tap RT DON'T hold it!*
- might take a few tries so SAVE before going into the Factory which is a great grind spot for kills in general, making this a useful Save for multiple cheevs

This comment was key to me, thanks!

Seems like it cannot be a 'power attack', must be a regular attack. I was trying power attacks for a while and not sure why it wasn't popping

The easiest place I found to do this is in the C&P boarst factory on Monarch. You’ll want to hit one of the cystypigs on the head with any science weapon while sneaking and using TTD. If your melee skill is high enough, look out for it saying “blind” as that’s when you want to hit.
While in the factory, you can mop up lots of the other combat achievements too.

In this video guide I will show you how to kill an enemy with a science weapon sneak attack during TTD, with a weakspot critical hit. First thing your going to need is the Prismatic Hammer. It can be found on the Groundbreaker. Not to far from the landing pad just past some checkpoints. There will be a room to the left with some beds and you will be able to climb up top. Then go through a hole in the wall. The hammer will be in a locked room to the right. One of the guards you kill with have the key.
Now in my video I don't have melee leveled up high enough to show weak spots. But I was still able to get the achievement. I would recommend trying this on some weak passive animal. Like a sprat or one of the cystypigs in C&P Boarst Factory. Once you find an animal you are going to try this on, make a manual save in case it don't work. Keep trying until it pops. Mine took around 10 times or so.
If you can't get the achievement to pop without having the melee skills being high enough to show weak spots, go ahead and put more points into it to help you get the achievement.
All you need to do is get up close, go into crouch, hit RB to go into TTD mode, then try to swing for the head. If the achievement don't pop reload your manual save and try again.

The achievement is unlocked when you equip a science weapon, crouch, and kill an unawares enemy with a sneak attack where the killing blow hits a weak spot. Ideally, you have TTD location hit effects skill unlocked—level 20 for ranged or level 40 for melee. This will allow you to see that the attacks hit a weak spot.
Nevertheless, it is not essential to have TTD location hit effects unlocked. I had a 2-handed melee skill of zero and used the 2-handed melee Prismatic Hammer Science weapon. Crouched and in TTD, I hit a sprat head on with the Prismatic Hammer and the achievement popped. You can kill any enemy for the achievement. Weak enemies make it easier and the normal non-rabid sprat is ideal. This is where I set up for the achievement:
Left of Belle’s Shells on Groundbreaker, there is a door marked Trash. I entered and went straight crouching to the left of the door facing the door I entered—not the one on the right that leads to rabid sprats. While crouching to the left of the door, I opened it. There are two sprats one to the left and the other to the right. You don’t see them until they walk to the center. As soon as one appeared, I went into TTD. While it was still unaware, I hit it in the face with the Prismatic Hammer and the achievement popped.
Sprats are prevalent throughout the game and there are quite a few other locations on Groundbreaker one might choose. I like the Trash location because, due to the closed door, the sprats can't see you coming. If you crouch before opening the door, you are already in sneak mode before you come into one another's view.
The Prismatic Hammer is the first science weapon available in the game. Land on the Groundbreaker. From your ship go straight through the security checkpoint. Turn left when you discover a workbench and an immediate right. Go through the door. Climb on some crates to your immediate left as you enter. From your elevated vantage point, go forward hugging the wall to your left. Drop through a vent hole at the far wall.
You find yourself in a room of enemies. If you have high lockpick skill (60 or better—companions Felix and Parvati each give a lockpick skill bonus); you can sneak to the door on your right and lockpick it without the enemies alerting to you. Otherwise, you will have to kill the enemies and loot the bodies to find the Repair Hangar Keycard.
Once you open the door—either by picking the lock or using the keycard—you’ll find the Prismatic Hammer in front of you in a container on a table. To its left is the Prismatic Hammer Research Terminal. Read the messages to get some info on this science weapon.
You can use the Prismatic Hammer to obtain the achievement as described above or against another enemy of your choosing. Nevertheless, it is not ideal and may take quite a few tries. Many players have expressed their frustrations with this achievement. All of the science weapons in the base game are not well suited to unlock it. Assuming you intend to play the DLC, if you are patient and do not require instant gratification, the best science weapons for the achievement are Special Delivery & Employee Benefits found during Peril on Gorgon and Spectrum Gatling & The Needler found during Murder on Eridanos. Unlike the base game science weapons, these are ideal for the task at hand.
These four are ranged weapons with high lethality and are easier to use for sneak attacks than melee weapons. Unlike previous ranged science weapons in the base game—Shrink Ray, Gloop Gun, and Mind Control Ray—these DLC ranged science weapons rely on conventional targeting and damage. Thus, it is easy to crouch for a sneak attack against an unaware enemy, activate TTD, target a weak spot (assuming 20 points In ranged weapons for the TTD location hit effects skill), and kill the enemy for the achievement.

I don't always know if sprats always work. I don't know if it's a bug or circumstance as one of my friends got it off sprats but me and another friend couldn't for the life of us get it. I tried in 3 locations for combined time of 40 minutes. I found this way and it's sure fire if all else fails. Be I was at least level 15 and you can also experiment on different character levels but this is what I did. My friend was level 17. You also need the Prism Hammer from the secret spot on Groundbreaker. I also got part of my solution from Gaming with Abyss on Youtube so partial credit goes to him. His solution for whatever reason wasn't working for me so I added my own notes on what I did and added.
Step 1: Save on the Unreliable docked on Groundbreaker and then go to the machine on the ship that resets your and your companions perks and activate it. You have to pay bits to do this and it's 500 I think for the first use. Then exit the ship with no companions on Groundbreaker.
Step 2: Then activate your skill tree and find the character skill menu. Put in perk chart 1, put one skill on Lone Wolf (+25% Damage when alone in a party) and Slow the World (+25% Tactical Time Dilation Meter Max). Then put three random ones on so you can have access to chart 2. On perk chart 2 put one on Weird Science (adds 50% more damage with Science weapons) and Scanner (+20% Bonus to Extra Headshot / Weakspot Damage.). Those are a must. Putting one on Speed Demon (+25% Movement Speed during TTD) couldn't hurt. You don't need to add the rest.
Step 3: Take into account the negatives that flaws take out, I had sneak on 50 and science on 60 and melee weapons on 50 and any leftover on two handed and or sneak. Then equip the Prism Hammer and go to Groundbreaker's Infirmary and to the bed on the left in the middle of the infirmary is a Mardet that is sick in bed.
(Sometimes there are two doctors, one each, looking over the two Mardet patients. They can't be there for this to work. I ran around the station for 20 minutes for them to leave and they didn't. Then I tried this three times and it worked for me, but I went to the out of bounds area in the infirmary and walked in the door on the right to the last door in the end of the hall and came back into the infirmary were the two Mardets were and the doctors walked away again.)
Step 4: Crouch over the Mardet and save a different save from the last one for a just in case. Then activate TTD and kinda walk on the bed and then smash the hammer right into the Mardet's face and the trophy should pop. Then note that mine popped during TTD but my friends only popped after TTD stopped. You can manually end TTD by pressing the TTD button again. This may take 1 or 2 tries but I have two confirmed cases of this working so far. It took me two so I walked on the bed the second time as TTD was activated and it worked. Once the trophy pops go back two saves and you where were you were in the regular game and enjoy the rest of the game ;-)!

Go to groundbreaker. pump some skill points into 2handed and stealth.
Find the Prism Hammer on Groundbreaker and equip it.
Go to where Gladys is and in those bays are Sprats. You can use TTD and aim for their head for the trophy.

*MISSABLE*
Realistically, the easiest science weapon to do this with is the Prismatic Hammer you find on Groundbreaker (see "Mad Scientist" for the location of all give science weapons). You can tinker the weapon to add extra damage, and you'll need 20 points in Stealth to perform sneak attacks. Add another 20 points in melee so you can use a power attack in stealth. Now, sneak up behind a weak enemy like a raptid or basic marauder, enter TTD mode, and load up a power swing while aiming at the head. If the enemy dies in a single hit, the achievement should unlock.

Just wanted to add something that I kept doing that prevented me from getting the trophy. Such a simple thing, but if you’ve reset all your skill points and perks, make sure to confirm with the square button before you leave the menu, after you’ve poured them into stealth and melee. I kept doing this and it meant my stats weren’t high enough.

Made it on Monarch, in Stellar Bay, with a baton.
Injure the dog and run away so that he returns and goes to bed without HP (you can’t go far for this, I ran around the houses).
I took the club from the quest "Weapon of the Abyss". On the pioneer, buy the “datapad” item from Gladys and decipher it in your ship’s cabin. After which the marker will send you to Scylla.

I'll add a little. If you haven’t downloaded “Science” and “melee/ranged combat” (depending on what type of weapon you will kill with), then make a save and go to the workbench, increase the damage for the bits until they run out.
I killed the dog in the same place (on Monarch, not far from Stellar Bay), but I didn’t sneak up on the sleeping one, but simply approached from the side in a crouch and hit her in the head in TZV)

If you do it with a hammer, then you have to hit it with a regular blow! , and not reinforced, otherwise it won’t work. I hope it helped someone)

Sprays are suitable as experimental enemies

The level of enemies in the locations is constant and does not increase with yours, so it is better to return to the very first locations having previously upgraded the weapon on the workbench, not necessarily to the maximum. I took a scientific baton, approached from behind, you need to wait until the sign of weakness/injury, etc. appears. , and hit with a strong blow and voila... As for me, it’s an easy trophy, I don’t even understand why so few players got it on Xbox, it’s not even hidden...
