How to unlock the Journeying with the Spirits achievement in Visions of Mana - Definitive Guide

Each character's Elemental Plot is expanded by using their corresponding Tonic (Soul Guard Tonic for Val, Wind Oracle Tonic for Careena, Radiant Knight Tonic for Morely, Water Queen Tonic for Palamena, and Wood Sprite Tonic for Julei), and you'll need three of each.
By the point where you defeat Grapplavine in Chapter 4 you'll have naturally obtained everyone's first Tonic.
You'll obtain each character's second Tonic upon beating their corresponding element's Benevodon in Chapter 7 (Fire for Val, Water for Palamena, etc.).
The first two for everyone you'll get via natural progression through the story, while everyone's third Tonic is found at the Grizzly Exchange post-game for 20 Grizzly Syrup each. So, make sure you've kept 100 on hand by the end of the game.
By the point where you defeat Grapplavine in Chapter 4 you'll have naturally obtained everyone's first Tonic.

Just a slight heads up, I think this one can be missable if you spend all your Grizzly Syrup in consumables. That actually happened to me, I spent like crazy and end up post game with only 5. Not too bad since I had a relatively earlier game save where I had a couple of hundred. So, just leave +100 for post game if you want to evolve the whole team, which I recommed.

The, Pants, Party
You will first need to complete the main story before this achievement can be obtained. Once you have done that, you can visit any Grizzly Exchange store and you'll see new items for 20 Syrup each, one for each character, that will give you the final elemental plot expansion.
