How to unlock the No tombstone unturned achievement in Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol - Definitive Guide

EDIT: This achievement has now been fixed. Thanks to Ozzz for the information.

I have gotten every other achievement in this game without issue but this one will not unlock even after meeting the requirements twice.

The bonus level icons are on:
Level 1 - Zombie Panic
Level 9 - Toxic Terrors
Level 12 - Mars Needs Cheerleaders (Must have 10 victims available at level start and must save all of them to trigger bonus level)
Level 17 - Office of the Doomed
Level 22 - Revenge of Dr. Tongue
Level 33 - Fish and Crypts

I also did the Credit level at the end of the game (twice as I did two complete playthroughs, one with save stating and one without) and still no achievement.

Only thing I can think of besides being glitched is that they could have possibly added a secret password to a whole new bonus level or something but that could be a stretch.

I don´t understand why the old passwords for bonus levels don´t work anymore. e.g. "DOTT" for the day of the tentacle bonus level.
May I ask, how do you have entered bonus level "1" without a password?

You need to get a bazooka or a monster potion (mystery potion would work too if you get lucky and get monster effect) as a random cabinet/trash can drop in the first level so that you can blow open the hedge at the top of the map.

There are 7 bonus levels I remember. I dont know the passwords or requirements but, the stages are.
1-B: day of the tentacle
9-B: Mushroom Men
12-B: Cheerleaders versus the monsters
17-B: Someplace very warm
22-B: The son of dr. Tongue
33-B: Curse of the Pharaohs
48-B: Monsters among us.

That seems unlikely. While the developer does say 56 in the video, it says "55 Un-Deadly Levels!" on the ZAMN case for the Super Nintendo. He propably misspoke. Also, why do think it's for sure the vanilla version they're showing footage of and not a debug version? If they use a debug version, they don't need to worry about ammo while getting footage. I watched the video again, and the footage shows the player having 954 bazooka ammo on level 2. How could an undiscovered bonus level account for this when level 1 already has a bonus level?

If you check the achievements on the xbox on the official club for this game it says 0.01% of people have this achievement so I don't think it's glitches I just think we're missing a level.

Why not ask how the gamer who unlocked it did? But it's sad and crappy how there's an unobtainable because I really liked this game when I played it back in my day on the genesis.

Love this game, do not care it is unobtainable. Maybe it gets fixed, maybe it doesn't. Still an amazing game.

It's fixed. You will probably only need to play level 12's bonus level again if you've played the other ones previously. I just went straight for level 12's bonus level today after I updated, and I unlocked it.

I've Finally unlocked the ACHIEVEMENT! No Passwords either. I'm definitely a Master at this Masterpiece; in Fact, I've been playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors since I was 4 years old on the Super Nintendo!

Played all through and this didn’t unlock, I tried doing the credits level several times and also re-do lvl 12 but nothing popped :(

The credits level definitely isn't needed for this - the achievement popped for me before the start of 33's bonus level.

I don't think this is bugged at all.

I played ALL 7 bonus levels and it won't unlock (yes Level 12 bonus level worked just fine for me). I think there is an 8th. I just watched the dev commentary and the creator of the game says plain as day there are 56 levels. 48 + 7 is only 55. It's not unheard for a hidden easter egg to take 20 years to find.

In the dev video they also show the player with 999 of items. I think they may be a hidden cheat code as well. They are showing footage from THIS version, not some emulator version.

It's glitched. In the update history for this game on Steam, it says they addressed "'No Tombstone Unturned' achievement counter not incrementing during bonus level 12" on August 16. I don't know why they haven't rolled this update out to Xbox yet.
