How to unlock the Spelunker's Savior! achievement in 3D Dot Game Heroes - Definitive Guide

When playing on the FROM difficulty, you can rescue Spelunker in the west section of area A1. See here for the world map. You will need the Anchor Rod (the upgraded Wire Rod) to reach Spelunker, and the Flame Wand to burn away two tree stumps. Once you rescue him, you will be able to select the Spelunker mode difficulty when you start a new game.
