This boss fight is a lot easier than it may seem.
Evil Blob lord looks like Dr Zoidbergs evil cousin. There are 3 stages to this fight.
Stage 1: He will drop black Blobs from the sky, so just dodge these, and get the shield jelly bean ready. After this sequence ends, equipe the shield and stand just under the lowest platform. Equip the Mech jelly bean ready. Press and hold B to deflect the 2 energy balls he fires at you. Press Y to drop shield Blob and give him the Mech jelly bean. Then approach him and repeatedly press B to punch him.
Stage 2&3: Equip and give Blob the bouncy ball jelly bean. Avoid all the falling Blobs. Once this has finished, quickly bounce up to the top platform, as he will flood the screen. Equip and give Blob the shield jelly bean. Once the green goo subsides, shield up and drop to the lowest platform, and deflect them energy balls back at big ugly. Then equip and give Blob the Mech and punch his face good and hard.
The 3rd sequence was exactly the same for me, so I am assuming it's the same all round. The only difference I found was the pattern of falling Blobs can change.
After the 3rd sequence is done, he will explode and melt away. Congratulations, 150g is your, and all that's left is the closing sequence and credits.

I was able to finish this fight solely with the robot blob without needing to leave it.
For the initial stage drop the robot bean to get it started and dodge the blobs the boss releases. Like the other boss fights you can see the shadows on the ground before they fall. After the first blob drop get into your robot blob and immediate aim towards (not walk towards) the boss and hold B to continuously punch. The boss will spit out one or two glowing ball blasts that your punches will reflect back. Once he gets hit enough he will act dizzy and not attack. Walk up to him, hold B for around a dozen punches and he'll come to. There's a graphic like you are hitting a shield when he come to that helps figure out when. Hurry to the right.
For the remaining stages there's a new attack to deal with. First get under the higher platform and watch the ground for the shadows where the blobs are going to fall. If you use thrusters to go left/right you can be fast enough to get to a clear spot to dodge them. In stage 2 he drops 2 sets of blobs. As soon as the second set hits the ground hover up to the lower platform then hover up to the higher platform and green water/slime will rise up. Wait for it to subside, fall off the right side of the higher platform and face the boss again holding B and like the first stage bounce back one or two glowing ball attacks until he gets dizzy, walk up and punch him till he comes to and then on to the third stage. Head right again to get ready for the blob drops.
Stage three is the same as the others except he drops three sets of blobs this time. Again, dodge all three, hover up to the upper platform to stay away from the water, drop down to the right, face him and hold B to reflect attacks and then he dies. Fight over.

After defeating the emperor boss in the citadel, you'll find yourself back in the tree hideout. You may notice that an extra page has been tacked on to the level select map. There are two more forest world stages you must play through – with three treasure chests in each – before you reach the final boss.
The final boss is surprisingly simple. As soon as you are able, use the shield jellybean on the blob and hold
to start blocking. The boss will fire a ball of light at you – reflect it back into him twice and he'll be stunned. Turn into the mech – the animation takes a while, so you need to be quick – and hold to hit the boss until it puts up a shield and you can't hit it anymore. Next, turn into the bouncy ball and get ready to dodge the enemies the boss will rain down upon you. After the second set of enemies, use the bouncy ball to jump up onto the top platform, as the boss will fill the stage with acid.
As soon as you are on the top platform, switch back to your shield and start blocking to start the cycle over again. Do this three times in total and you will have defeated the final boss and earned this trophy.
