The cave world consists of ten stages and a boss fight.
The hardest part about the beast boss is getting into the large ball. The timing here is tight, as the beast boss is fast and will often take a swipe at you before you can get into the ball safely.
Once you're in the ball, you're going to have to bait the beast into jumping into the floating enemies. Go up the left wall and hang out near the first enemy until the beast jumps into it. Then get to the middle platform and step on the pressure switch, sending the second enemy down to the beast's level. Then get off the switch to trap it. Wait for the beast to jump into it, then go to the right and use the hole jellybean to send the third and final enemy down to the beast's level.
If you accidentally kill one of the enemies, don't worry; they'll respawn fairly quickly. If the enemy no longer respawns, that means you've successfully hit the boss with it and can move on (sometimes it's not entirely obvious that you've damaged him).
Just remember: the beast can't hurt you while you're in the bubble. So don't worry if you fall back to its level; as long as you're in the ball, all it can do is push you away.
