How to unlock the Savior of Blobolonia (Citadel 7) achievement in A Boy and His Blob - Definitive Guide
There's a blob in a cage that's hard to reach, in the section where you use a rocket. The way I found to reach him was to throw a jack (anvil should also work) out into the spikes. Jump onto that, and your jellybean should reach the blob in the cage.
Near the end of your rocket flight, you'll pass another blob in a cage that's hard to reach. For this one, I tossed an anvil down the pit and used d-pad right to move the camera down there. Don't jump down there yourself, we're just using the anvil to guide the camera. This made the blob in the cage much easier to hit, tossing from the platform above.

Thanks a lot! It worked! I didn't know that I have to use the d-pad.

(Collectible)
In certain Citadel stages, you will come across caged blobs. Most of these will be directly in your path but some you have to seek out. The way to free them is to feed them a balloon jellybean – the only time it's actually useful throughout the entire game. Freed blobs stay freed, so if you die after freeing some, don't worry about saving them again.
Citadel 7 has 12 blobs to free – one right at the start, two just past the first blob, one just after the descending section with all the charging shadows, one at the beginning of the large spike pit you need the rocket to cross (stand on the anvil to reach it), one soon after in the middle of the room, one two more levels up (fly past it to the platform, land, and drop the jellybean down the gap – use blob-cam [] to make sure it's freed), one on the aforementioned platform, one in-between all the moving platforms next to the previous blob, one at the end of the moving platform section, one just after the second treasure chest, one hanging above the lava soon after sending the big doofus shadow into the lava, one just after that, two right before the third treasure chest.
