In chapter 4, Hugo will run off into a field of red trees

Go into stealth mode and go to the left hand side of these bushes, look down the rows and side step left. Eventually you will see Hugo, sneak up on him and press Y. This will unlock they achievement.

Just a heads up. If you miss it and are still in the "Vines" area, just reload checkpoint and you are back at the workbench

I did reload but when I did Hugo stayed with me and didn’t run to hide

Go left while in stealth mode, look down the rows while sidestepping left until you see Hugo. Once so, sneak up on him and press (triangle on the dualshock 4 controller), or Y on the xbox one controller to unlock the achievement/trophy.

Hey guys and gals!
Here is my 100% Achievement Guide for APTI!

In chapter 4, just after you sneak by two enemies in a hut of some kind, you see a workbench and just past this, Hugo will run off into some rows of trees (They are very obvious).
All you have to do is sneak left to the back of the bushes, side step your way through each one until you see him.
Once you do, continue to sneak up on him and press cn_Y when your behind him.

If you prefer a visual, then go to 1:17:15 in my Part 1 video to see where and how it is done.
Alternatively, you could check out my solo video for this if you prefer to be getting this one achievement done.

During Chapter 4, Amicia and Hugo will reach a small vineyard, where Hugo lets go of Amicia's hand to hide in the field. To find Hugo, head to the far left side of the vineyard and move left while facing the field. Hugo should be found hiding between the sixth and seventh row of vines. Approach him from behind and then press to catch him by surprise, unlocking this achievement.

As I understand it, if you go further along the fence than necessary, then Amicia simply calls Hugo. I had to replay the chapter because the game immediately made a save.

I'll correct it. The game does not make a save after finding Hugo. I screwed up three times. Replayed from the control point. The fourth time I did it right - I approached from behind and pressed I didn't have to replay the chapter up to this point.
