How to unlock the Score 200,000 points achievement in ACA NEOGEO FATAL FURY SPECIAL - Definitive Guide

Since this game seems to be a special version of Fatal Fury 2, the guides provided for ACA NEOGEO FF2 are applicable on this game either (to some extend).
With this being said the 3 Score achievements for the English Version and the "mark the high Score" Achievement can be obtained by using a second Xbox Gamepad/ entering PvP match during the campaign.
Note: Just to make sure dont use any supplemental hardware like chatpad on any of both Controllers since then it might be impossible to activate 2 player VS mode. Also make sure to put some virtual coins in by pressing
a couple of times.
After entering English Version in the Main menu just choose any character you like (I chose Terry Bogard as P1) then push
on the 2nd controller and again choose any character you like.
Then just beat P2 twice which should get you 80k (note: you may get more score if you set the time to the max setting). I did a PvP rematch and then earned more than 100k Score.
Note: The Achievement does not pop up immediately, so it is mandatory to create a save state after being redirected to the COM opponent by entering the options menu (
) then going back to start menu (via again).
Then in the main menu choose English Version again which should redirect you to the save state/ to the COM opponent fight. By doing this kind of "game reset" the achievement should pop up. (re-do this after reaching 150k and 200k each to unlock the other achievements)

it wont let me hit start on my 2nd controller.

1. try to push LB several times to make sure there are enough coins (if you activated 1vs1 coin input in options menu)
2. make sure you use no periphal devices like chatpad are attached to both controllers
3. maybe the game even requires two controllers of the exact same type (for me it worked with 2 x 2015 edition Controllers (without bluetooth)

When the game starts, press and go to Game Settings. Change Time Settings to 99 and difficulty to Level 1.
Pick Billy Kane (british guy with stick). Choose Cheng (green shirt) as your first opponent. Keep spamming
and try to push the CPU forward. Keep the proper distance and pay attention to timing. Use 
to perform a throw when they get dizzy or too close. You can use save states.
At 01:55 of this video I started Original Mode and did 340.300 points:

I'm having no luck whatsoever. Any other suggestions please?

maybe i should change the word "spamming" for "pressing". timing and distance are the most important things in this method.
