How to unlock the The Collector achievement in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon - Definitive Guide

To get this, you must fly all aircraft in the game. To unlock everything, beat the campaign first.

Then, load up a mission for each plane type (Fighter/Multirole/Attacker/Bomber). Select a different plane each time.

You do _not_ have to complete the mission - just select a plane, start the mission, then quit out and repeat with the next one.

You will get the MH-60/AH-64D/AC130U via story progression. For the Hind, you must play multiplayer (or a helicopter free mission) and select it. It will register you as having flown it either after the match/mission or after you die and choose a new aircraft.

Thanks for the list.

I left the Hind until last, achievement didn't unlock even though it registered in my stats under Aircraft usage. I then went to free mission > Motherland and was able to select the Hind. Achievement unlocked as soon as the mission started.

You do not have to play online to get the Mi-24 Hind. I replayed a helicopter mission and the Hind was a selectable air craft to fly.

if you want to know what plane you've already flown then in the main menu go to Player Archive, Stats, and then Aircraft Usage.

it shows how many times you've used each plane for a mission.

Do you have to complete the game on pilot to get the PAK aircraft?

I recently picked this game back out off my shelf and was struggling to remember most details about it. I was wanting some direction from this page for which level to use for the planes to get this chevo done in free play, as well as scuzzybunny. I finally found out that in free play, it tells you the role of the level on the bottom of the screen. Only after having just a couple planes left ofc -_-' But maybe that will help someone out, someday, perhaps..

I ran into the "I thought I had them all" also, but it turns out I was missing 2 Attack aircraft. You might want to add 3 missions to the solution (by each type of aircraft)...you can use all the fighters/ multirole in any air-to-air mission, the attack planes in air-to-ground, and the helos in the helo missions (duh)...and you need to play (start) the bomber mission a second time in order to use the other bomber from the one you used in the lone bomber campaign mission.

You need to beat the game in order for all the planes to unlock. Then you can either select them via free mission, or by online. I advise doing it in online as it’ll help with the 50 hour trophy. Please be aware that you cannot select every plane in normal campaign mode, it can only be done after you beat it either by free mission or online.

Or if you just want the trophy, "You can add that simply going to free mission, starting a mission with a plane, and then immediately quitting still counts as flying it, however it will not add it in the aircraft viewer section" --- Shika

The most common planes that people forget about are the two bombers, the Hind and the PAK-FA.
