Real simple just load into the match and hold B next to the crowd until you get the barbed wire bat. Took me a couple tries, but I eventually got it from the crowd

You have to be outside the ring and move the left stick to center yourself near the ring apron while holding the right trigger to grab a weapon from under the ring not next to the crowd.

Good tip is the make a custom wrestler whos choice of weapon is a barbed wire bat. He will pull it out straight away.

A Lights Out match is a no disqualification/extreme rules match. There will be weapons scattered in and around the ring which you can use on your opponent. These weapons are randomised and a barbed wire bat seems to be one of the rarer ones- but there's an easy way to find one quicker. If you create or edit a wrestler, you can select their weapon of choice under their profile- select the barbed wire bat. Now start a Lights Out Match, leave the ring with 
by the ropes, then press 
while aiming the left stick at the center of the apron. This is a bit fiddly but you should be able to retrieve a weapon from under the ring- the first time you do this in a match you should get your weapon of choice, which should be the barbed wire bat. Hit your opponent with it and you should unlock the trophy instantly.
