How to unlock the Triple Crown achievement in AEW: Fight Forever - Definitive Guide

Triple Crown - 85g
Hold 3 titles simultaneously in Road to Elite

There is a method to this, and this can be missed. I used CM Punk to unlock mine with the method below, but I believe this works with any MALE top tier wrestler (Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, Brodie Lee (once unlocked) and Kenny Omega are also suitable choices). With female wrestlers and some midcard wrestlers, some of the blocks and stories may alter slightly. Just a warning before you start this.

The Road to Elite is broken into blocks 1,2,3 and 4 and each block has three paths, A B and C. You need to navigate them in such a way that you can win three titles and hold them at the same time.

You will be going for 1A, 2C, 3B and 4B on Easy mode, to save any hassle. I did matches only, with the odd Dining and relevant activity to keep my stats high.

- First step, quit the Casino Battle Royale in the very first match. You CAN'T win this to unlock this achievement and its a waste of time. By doing this, it should put you on to Path 1A - Unlikely Partnership. This will put you in a Tag Team with a random chosen partner (mine was Jon Moxley). Win all of your matches in this section to earn a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championships. You will win these at the All Out PPV. Title 1/3 done.

- By winning this, you should end up on Path 2C - Dance with Death. No titles on this section. This is where you feud with the Dark Triangle Faction. At some point, you will have a conversation on an aeroplane with Pac, a long-haired dude, where he gives you the choice of who to team with. YOU MUST pick Ray Fenix as your partner, otherwise you will not end up on the right path for the second title in the third section. Then, continue to win your matches as usual. There is a tricky 3 vs. 1 match at the Full Gear PPV, so if possible take a booster for signatures and finishers with you for this, to speed things up.

- Third step, you SHOULD end up on Path 3B - Breaking Point if you picked Ray Fenix earlier. You will start this block with a TV interview with Darby Allin (little skateboard dude with facepaint). If this pops up, you are good to go. Win all your matches as per normal in this block and you will end up in a Three Man Ladder match at the Revolution PPV. Win this match to earn your second title, the FTW Championship. Title 2/3 done.

- Final step - you should be on Path 4B - Challenge Yourself. This is a series of gauntlet matches with three opponents in a row, all picked by female wrestlers. Use boosters if you need to, you should have some cash stored by now. You will then have a four way match and a bizarre little match with a darker version of yourself. You MUST WIN all of these matches to earn a shot at the AEW Championship at Double or Nothing. This will be in a Four Way match as well, which can be tough, some come prepared. I recommend bringing an Insta-Special boost to make this simpler. Title 3/3 done.

Once you win all of these and complete Road to Elite, the achievement will pop on the outro screen (where it asks if you want to end Road to Elite).

Some hints for the Four Way Matches and the Ladder Match. Try to divide and conquer your foes unless they take each other out. I found that spamming Y to kick was very useful and it could sometimes take two down at a time. Once you have a signature flashing, try to hit everyone with one or two, to weaken them all down. This might take practice, but if you lose, you can dashboard and come back in.

When everyone is down (or the other two opponents are in a hold together), sneaking a pin with LB can prove useful too. Its cheesy but it will save you so much aggro.

And, finally, for the Ladder Match, you have to cimb by holding up and LT, reach the chip with RT, and spam Y, B, A and X in a segmented circle, which follows the clockwise button order on the Xbox controller. When you are on that ladder, fast fingers can make this a breeze if the other two participants are down.

Good hunting!

Wanna confirm that while this is a good guide, it is still random. I was on a complete win streak throughout RtE and I got the Paul Wight story instead of Challenge yourself for the final chapter block.

Good luck out there, gamers.

Thanks for the feedback. I am still testing this on other characters. I believe female, tag team and lower card wrestlers may alter the outcome slightly, they won't get a major title shot in Block 4. But there does seem to be a degree of randomness to this. I was told this method also only works on Custom Wrestlers, but that's not true either.

I think you're right about the lower card wrestlers, my run was with John Silver. I'll test again with Kenny!

Just failed this with Bryan Danielson. Got the Jericho/MJF storyline in the second phase, then the Exploding Barbwire Deathmatch story in the third.

Just wanted to bring up that you don't actually have to stress yourself out over winning all the matches in 4B.(though if going for A+ & whatnot you should prob go for the win)

You can lose all matches in 4B(I did start+quit, which counts as a loss) even the bizarre one, then just won the fatal 4 way at the ppv and you'll still win the championship.

This is also an add on to it being random, but I was able to win 4 championships using Anna Jay during this run too.(women's, tbs, ftw, aew)

Do you have to win the 3v1 match or can you just quit it?

I quit all matches up to the 4 way title match at the ppv, then only won that match, still became champ.

Though an added point, if you quit you lose 1 momentum so just make sure to keep that up going into the ppv to make sure that last match is as easy as possible if quitting.

Just to add to everyone else, did this with CM Punk and after winning the tag titles I did the inner circle storyline!

I tried this with Jericho and it lead me to do the dark order and another block in 3 as well as 4a mjf also lead me to the same as Jericho and it seems to be random

Update -- I found if you lose only one match in block 1A (as opposed to 2+) you get the 2C Death Triangle path as listed in the solution above. Again, if you're having issues getting to 2C, try losing one match in 1A.

(Turns out,, 2B, the Dark Order path, doesn't get you to the AEW title in Block 4, so its better to get 2C than 2B. 2C however allows you to unlock Mr. Brody Lee, so at least there is that consolation prize).

This has to be random. Because I followed the guide EXACTLY and ended up at block 3C. Frustrating.

Either the guide is just wrong, or there is a random element to this.

I followed the guide twice now, once with Jericho and once with Punk. With Jericho I got a different block 2 and with Punk I got a different Block 3.

If it is random maybe you get lucky and following this path will work for you, but it didn't for me either time I've tried.

I played Sting. Lost the Casino Battle Royale. Lost the follow up match with Random Character (first time it was Dustin, second time it was Malakai). Played through to win the tag titles. Then the Death Triangle story played and then it's a case of following the guide above.

So it looks as if you have to lose your first two matches in the season to unleash the Death Triangle story, as well as not pick Pac, Fenix or Penta for obvious reasons.

I also followed the guide and ended up on 3C instead of 3B.

Some blocks are random, when you see which block you get and you don't like it, close the game (using the Xbox button on your controller). You will repeat the last combat and you may get a different block.

So I found an easy way to do this.

I played as Hikaru Shida.

Instead of a Casino Royale, you compete in a 4 way. That was the only match I lost.

First block you win the Women's title on week one. Just defend it till the end of the block.

Second block, I got the Inner Circle path. Accept Jericho's invitation to join and keep winning. No title here.

Third Block gets interesting. I got the Breaking Point path, the one with Darby Allin.

On week 4 of the third block, go to other match, pick Rampage and you should have a ladder match with Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship (The other Women's title in AEW.). Win that match for your second title.

Now go to the PPV to win another Ladder match, this time a triple threat for the FTW Championship.

Win that match, and you will have 3 championships before even taking on the 4th block.

I don't think this is random. I did the above five times, quitting/losing the Casino Royale match but winning every other match, and got the Jericho storyline (followd by the Exploding Death Match Block) each time. This time around I made sure to lose my first two Block 1A matches (but winning the second two to ensure I get the Tag Team belts), and I wound up with the 1C Dark Order storyline, where you can win the TNT Belt.

Therein, if you're having issues like me, make sure to lose 1-2 matches in block 1A to avoid the Jericho storyline, but be sure to win every major PPV to get the "Challenge Yourself" story block at the end.

Followed this guide with with Kenny Omega and it took me exactly where it said. Sucks tho the last two matches are 4 ways. I used one Insta-Special on the first 4-way and if you get lucky on the second, just try to keep a signature and just repeatedly hit signatures Kenny's rear german suplex is a good quick move for this.

Now I only have the Hall-Of-Famer achievement left which I figure will be a b*tch.

A tip tho. If you are beat up bad and you are gonna get pinned. Pause and close out the game completely. (DO NOT PAUSE AND QUIT MATCH AS IT ADVANCES THE STORY) When you close the game it wont advance and wont save so what this does is allows you to continue and try again from the last save point before the match. This prevents you from having to start all over and do the whole Road To Elite story again. Kinda sucks they dont have a restart match option. But this works for me

This one is a little annoying as it's pretty luck based as the storylines you get in the Road to Elite mode are completely random. Your first title shot is guaranteed as if you win the first match (Casino Battle Royale for men, 4-Way Match for women) you'll be put into a match for your divisions main title in the first PPV cycle, and if you lose you get a tag team title shot. I'd actually recommend purposely losing this match if you're playing as a man as you can get another World Title match down the line. Make sure to win your title matches and any defences you may have and you'll get your first notch for this trophy.

The best opportunity to win two more titles is through the Breaking Point story in the Road to Revolution, the third PPV cycle. Make sure to play the Rampage match in the fourth week, and you should get a ladder match for the TNT/TBS title (depending on gender). Then, on the actual PPV, you should have a three-way match for the FTW championship regardless of gender, win this and you should get the trophy if you got the previous two titles.

Finally, if something goes wrong with one of the above, through the Challenge Yourself block in the Road to Double or Nothing you'll get another AEW Championship match of the end (this is possible for female wrestlers too). If you won this title already at the start this won't count again, but if you won the Tag or Women's belts, this is another chance to get a title towards this trophy. While I didn't get the Join the Dark Order storyline on the Road to Full Gear until well after I got this trophy, this also provides a title you can win.

As mentioned before, the storylines you get (other than the first) are seemingly randomised, though I am awaiting further confirmation on how this works exactly. You can avoid certain storylines by playing as a character involved in it, for example playing as Jon Moxley should give you a 50/50 shot of getting the Breaking Point scenario. If you want to replicate my run for the trophy in case there is something fixed that determines your storylines, I played as a created female wrestler with the hero personality, I won every match on my way and got Women's Championship->Inner Circle Breaks Out->Breaking Point->Challenge Yourself for a total of 4 titles by the end. This is not guaranteed though, if you have any information that can shed light on making the storylines consistent feel free to let me know.
