How to unlock the Rank In achievement in After Burner Climax - Definitive Guide

Play Score Attack mode until you finish the game (you have infinite lives). Your score will automatically be uploaded and the achievement will pop.

Note that your stats won't count towards the EX awards and other achievements (like completing an emergency order or "complete the game with plane x") won't pop.

I was not too sure how to do this achievement at first because you get unlimited lives so I was unable to just Die and upload score.

But you MUST complete the Entire game on Score Attack Mode first. When you complete the game, then you can go back to any level you have played and choose it. After I choose the level the achievement was unlocked.
But you are suppose to push X to upload your score to the leaderboards

Pretty simple and easy to get. Just play score attack from beginning to end. You have infinite lives. Once you complete the last level, the game will automatically upload your score and unlock the trophy.

Simply complete the standard game, no need to complete the extra stages, unlimited lives.

Personally I could not unlock this achievement even after clearing the extra stages. My issue was the game did not register and show full game icon that I owned the game even tho I unlocked every other achievement.

This is a result from owning the game on a different account. So basically load and quit the game until the full joypad icon is shown in your library on the dash board before starting the game.

This is how I got the achievement.

Helps me a lot the Solution.Same Problem the Game was from a Different Acoount. I do before start the Game License Transfer. Play Hours and get not the Achievement. The give you not Acess to the Leaderboard. But the joyoad Icon must be on all your Games on Libary. When anyone have trouble go to Libary waiting to get all the joyoad icon on all Games. Go out from Libary with B and join back and go check all Icons are in start the game and the Achievement is yours 😉

All you have to do is to finish the game in "Score Attack" (choose from the main menu). Score Attack is basically the same as Arcade mode, but EX-options are disabled. To make up for that, you'll be provided with infinite lives. So it's actually not possible to fail Score Attack unless you don't keep playing until all the stages are over.

You have to be connected to the PSN in order to have your score uploaded to the rankings and thus making the trophy pop.

In online mode, all bonuses are updated, but the lives are endless, and after each fall the plane will continue to fly. So we leave the game and go have tea. In 10-15 minutes the trophy is yours.

You need to complete the "score attack" mode to the end.

If you do everything offline, then when you go to PSN, nothing will load on its own; you will still have to go through all the steps online again. So the trophy is online.
