How to unlock the Galactic Warlord achievement in Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Definitive Guide

This one takes a lot of thought to achieve but I have figured out a trick. The achievement tracker does work for this game so turn it on, favorite the mentioned achievement, and put it where you would like.
Step 1- start a campaign (does not matter which one i would suggest one of the first ones)
Step 2-once the level is loaded, find a enemy and get ready to fight
Step 3- click on said enemy and two options will appear, click the manual battle option
Step 4-press the Y button and a menu will show up telling you all kinds of info one being auto combat, you want to select that one and sit back and watch the fight or play on your phone until the short battle is over
Step 5- after you win the aforementioned battle it will take you to the overhead mode of the game, press the Y button and you will retry the battle which is going to still count, so just keep repeating the battle till you hear the glorious sound we all crave for on this website.
If the game stops showing the retry button just reload your auto save which will be during the first turn of combat.
That should be everything you need to know to get this lengthy achievement in a short time (well maybe not that short)
I would recommend listening to a podcast or music so you do not get too bored, but hey you do you

I find manual battles a bit tedious in this latest instalment of Age of Wonders. The completely new skillsets, abilities and races are a little overwhelming, so I prefer to do automatic battles. The good news is, you can still do this and get the achievement. Simply engage in a manual battle and toggle auto-combat on (the icon with the two swords crossed in the bottom right of the screen). Also, be sure to activate 3 x playback speed which can be done at the bottom of the screen. Just do this whenever there is a small battle that will be over quickly 100 times as your playing and the achievement will be yours in no time.

Not hard but time-consuming.
Use your army to attack enemy army and enter the manual battle mode. Make sure you're going to win it.
Now kill all enemy units but one, cripple its HP to the point your next shot will kill it.
Save the game on the turn you're going to kill it thus winning the battle.
Reload the game and win the battle again.
Repeat until you get the trophy (it's boooring
).
