The marine campaign is the hardest campaign. The purpose of this guide will be to help on some tough battles and giving you genral tips. I will start with genral tips.
Weapons
*The pulse rifle/ machine gun will be the wepon you use the most, remeber the gernade launcher use it whenever you need to (LT).
*During certain parts of the game you will only have a pistol, never use the alternate fire alway use single shot. Remeber to block (hold RB and LB) and melee if they get to close. IMPORTANT if the alien stands up on two legs he is doing a heavy attack which is UNBLOCKABLE just simple melee and aim for the head.
*If you find a smart gun lying around chances are you are going to need it but make sure you watch your ammo count while using it.
* Flamethower is useless.
* Sniper rifle was my favorite weapon, and probably the most used its a 1 head shot or 2 or 3 body shots should kill aliens, but be carful if you shot an alien in the head with the sniper and he is to close you will lose lots of health due to acid spray.
Enemys
* Egg sacks simpley put a burst of machine gun rounds and if they can be avoided do so.
* Robots- shoot them in the legs with a sniper then finish them of with a quick head shot.
*Predator fight- Simply used the sniper rifle scope to spot him them unload. You can see him if he is invisable with the scope.
* Predatorian (really big alien) - In the lab save your granades when you start of the fight simply shot him as many times as you can with the sniper clip. Then switch to your assult rifle and hit it in the legs with a granade (its head is armored) if it falls down shoot it with machine gun bullets, when it gets up do it again until it eventually die.
Final Boss- KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!!!! Sniper rifle is you biggest weapon here just keep shooting him in the limbs or head (he is a robot).
Also use your granades and keep moving.
