this achievement can be misleading you have to play with yourself and 6 other friends. for 3 games i was doing it with myself and 5 friends and not understanding why i was not getting it.

This achievement can be hard or it can be easy, First off as its said above you do need 7 people playing with you to get the achievement 6 friends and you.( NOTE! All seven people must finish the game for the achievement to unlock at the end of the game, make sure you have everyone your playing with on your friends list! )

There are a few ways you can get this achievement each way may be hard or easy depending on your luck.

You can have a party of 7 people and hope that when you join a game no one gets booted out or cant connect to the game which when i did it happend many times.

You can also while in game send friend requests to everyone on your team which you may have luck and theyll accept it in game, i only suggest doing this with atleast a party of around 4 guys or if your in a party of 7 and one of you get lagged out of the game send a friend request to your other teamates in hope that theyll accept for your 7.

You can also play a free for all match which will also unlock the achievement just by haveing everyone search one game mode at the same time and hope you get pushed into one game, as long as your all on each others friends lists you'll see it pop at the end of the game. Can also add anyone from the game to see if you can get 7.

As long as its a ranked match can be team or no teams either way if you play with 7 friends it will unlock at the end of the game, Hope this helped i know this one can be annoying to obtain took me a week just to pull it off and it was my last one.

Due to the fact that not many people play this game online anymore it is sometimes hard to find a game to join.

I think the best way to obtain this as of now, is to find a group of 8 people willing to get the achievement, everyone add each other as a friend and make 2 squads of 4. Both party leaders need to search the same game mode (i did it on mixed species deathmatch, but others should work) and have the same filter of players (which will be 8).

Be sure to search at the same time, make each player preferred if your having trouble finding each other. Once both squads are in a lobby, ready up and the achievement will pop as soon as the game starts. It doesn't matter if your friends are on the other team as long as they are in the same game.

Be-aware that as of February 2016 the online for this game is still popular with randoms and boosters alike so you may have some conflicts when you are trying to go for this achievement.

The description for this achievement is misleading. When it says "Six Friends" it means you will need at least 6 other people "excluding" yourself to help you get the achievement. So that means including yourself you will need 7 people. The problem though with this game is that some game modes do not like odd numbers starting up Ranked Matches so as a precaution I recommend you get an 8th player as that should start up the Ranked Match immediately.

So once you have your group of people/friends that are willing to help you get this achievement, you all first need to return to the XBox 360 Dashboard and send Friend Requests. If you do this whilst you are in the game, it won't count and you will void the achievement.

Note: This game is Backward Compatible on the XBox One console, but the Friend Requests will not work via the XBox One Friend Feed. You must send an individual Friend Request on the XBox 360 console. If you are playing this game via the XBox One consoles Backward Compatibility, but you have no access to an XBox 360 console, you will have to send the Friend Requests first, then once they've been approved, reload the game again for the achievement to count. Another possible method around this is to send the Friend Requests whilst playing on a different XBox 360 game that you are running via the Backward Compatibility.

Double check and triple check that you have everyone in the group on your friends list and then when everyone feels comfortable, load up in the game and follow the procedures of getting into a group, searching for a Ranked Match and then getting into a game.

As soon as the match loads up you will get this achievement instantly. You can then either work towards other achievements or quit out if this is the only achievement you need in the game.
