How to unlock the Points II achievement in Altered Beast - Definitive Guide

Play through the game and kill every bad guy. Eventually you will get this. Most of you points will come from the "Stage Clear Bonuses" after beating the boss of each level.

So, I realise this game is super old and most people have this achievement, anyway, but to maximise points, make use of the save state feature (the ability to save the game at any moment) and do your best to get all three spirit wolves before the first encounter with the bald guy - that's how you gain a majority of your points from the "Stage Clear Bonuses"... Just thought I'd clarify as I'm checking out solutions and the likes.
