Basically, you need to die, this requires you getting hit too many times (obviously).
On the first level just keep getting attacked by the first monster you see and letting it catch you.
When the game loads, you'll see a machine infront of you, one side will display a green light, the other a red light.
Move the ball in the middle to the red light. The machine will turn green across both lights and the ether in the middle. Jump through to get the trophy and be reborn where you died.
