The easiest way to do this is when you select Kira set the button mode setup to "simple" and just spam the Y button whilst not pressing the joystick in any direction.
You will probably want the rounds set to 2 as this attack does a lot of damage. as soon as you do it 5 or 6 times it should unlock.

I think it is also necessary to finish the match using this move as well.

Ah that'll be why I got confused as to wether it's 5 or 6 times because I had to do it 3 times one round and then expected it to unlock in the second round after I had done 2 but then had to do a third to finish the battle. Thank you.

). You simply have you use it 5 times in a match and then win the match with one. An easier way of using this move is to pick Kira in Simple mode and press for the same attack
