Arise: A Simple Story

So I stumbled into a cheesy way to do this. While at the last checkpoint of the level where you're at a lantern, there's a waterfall to your left and sorrows to your right I quit to the main menu with the intention of restarting the level for the achievement. When I hit continue it spawned me back at the checkpoint so I just finished the last part of the level and to my surprise the achievement for not being touched by any sorrows popped. It seems as though quitting and reloading is enough to trick the game into thinking you haven't been touched by any sorrows, or at least that was the case for me.
