Traits are unlocked on the end game screen after completing a successful Quick Game scenario, wherein the condition to unlock the trait is met.
The trait Animal Fear is unlocked by purchasing the knowledge Seduction. Knowledge can be unlocked by purchasing it from the Caravan or Council tabs in the Knowledge tab, which is the book tab at the top left. The Knowledge Points required for these purchases are earned by harvesting or performing actions using Expert Trades, or given by friendly caravans. The knowledge Seduction is available as a base knowledge in the Caravan tab, and requires 200 Knowledge Points. It grants the ability to automatically tame a Rhinoffalo if it's next to the Caravan when installed.
Animal Whisperer unlocks alongside this achievement upon completion of the run.
