How to unlock the Babel Falling achievement in Babel Rising - Definitive Guide

Complete the campaign, pretty self explanatory!

There are a total of 15 missions, 5 for each temple. If you have had experience with tower-defence style games, then this campaign will probably be no problem for you. If this is your first, then don't worry if you struggle at times, as the game is very good at overwhelming you!

All of the challenges given pretty much just require you to play the game like normal. If you were to never read them and play, you will easily pass them all. The only challenge I will give advice for are the Points challenges. Make sure when you're doing them that you focus on getting high multiplyers by swapping attacks over and over. I managed to get a 25 multiplyer at one point, it is a huge help towards your goal!

Here are the missions, in order;

Tower - Great Ziggurat
I - Foundations - Kill 75 Workers
II - Fire And Brimstone - Withstand 20 Waves of Workers
III - False Prophets - Defeat 40 Priests
IV - Deluge - Resist for 8 Minutes
V - Wind of Change - Kill 450 Workers

Tower - Tower of Babel
VI - A New Beginning - Fight Off The Workers for 9 Minutes
VII - Cursed Path - Spare 25 Cursed Jars
VIII - Rosary of Souls - Score 100,000 Points
IX - Sea Legs - Destroy 72 Ships
X - Under Siege - Destroy 30 Construction Towers

Tower - Hanging Gardens
XI - Divine Gardens - Kill 450 Workers
XII - Accursed Priests - Withstand 42 Waves of Workers
XIII - Babel Towers - Destroy 5 Construction Towers, Then 25 Priests
XIV - Soul Collector - Score 500,000 Points
XV - Last Stand - Resist for 20 Minutes

If you're having trouble with a mission or a tactic, see the comments section. Different players have mentioned the tactics they like using, so you're sure to find one that suits your play-style!

On Level XV, Fire/Water combo worked first time after failing with other combos. Drop a cloud that hits the steps and above (gets them coming up up and over) before moving to the other side. The clouds also help cluster them for other attacks. Finally, use can use a cloud to constantly slow down the last worker before the ships.

Agree with the comment about focusing on the point in XI-XV where you can attack everyone, last 5 missions were a breeze like this.

Yea level 7/12 are the hardest ones I think. For 7 I didn't pass it until I made good use of the rain clouds, took 3 tries. For 12 I was able to hold off the last 8 waves at the top of the tower with just a few workers left til defeat.

I encountered a glitch in level xv where in my last 6 minutes to survive there was a group of 5 workers and a guy with a cursed jar stuck on the stairs! They weren't moving anywhere and were the last of the group wave. so i just left them there for the remainder of survival and room achievement unlocked :D so don't go nuts killing everyone! You might get lucky

The best tip is this.... Fire and wind and find the spot on the tower where all enemies come together... Simply kill them at that point and that point ONLY.

For the last tower there is a spot with 3 staircases 2 on left one on the right, kill there and do not allow them to build the next level, use fire attack to destroy the next level if they do build it. This is pretty much how I beat every level on the last tower.

Wind and Fire, from memory this one brought me closest to failure than any other. The biggest help in this is using the Ultimate powers, at 100% (In case you don't know how to charge them, spam the trigger you used to cast it immediatly after casting). I would try to primarily focus on one side with the local powers, and the other with the trail ones. Then when I had ultimate powers, I would cast Wind on one side and forget about it for as long as it lasted. The breather always lets you catch back up, and the Meteor strike (if casted on scaffolding) does a brilliant job of bringing them back a few steps. Most importantly, is never waste an ability on a worker or two up ahead by themselves. Always better to let some through here and there then to cause yourself strife later when a wizard comes through with a whole bunch and you have no powers!

the final mission is the only one that really bogged me down. I was trying the wind/fire attacks, but failed every time. When I changed to fire / water... I finally beat the last level. using the rain to slow enemies down turned out to be the big difference maker on that final board. You can freeze (or roast) on one side, then immediately drop a rain cloud there and spin around to the other side. Use your other techniques on that other side, drop another cloud when you're done and spin back around. I saved the flood for when there were too many enemies, but go up and drop that meteor shower on the highest parts of the tower as soon as you can. good luck!

Welcome

This solution is only for the last level which is really difficult since it requires you to survive for 20 minutes!!!

But don't worry i found the easiest way to do this and took me 1 try only using this method.

Elements: Fire & Water
Passive Power: Fury Spirit
Scrolls: Sabotage Scroll

You need to position yourself at the top of the tower just like this picture:
External image

Use the water power on right side and fire power on the left side unless there are priests make sure to take them out fast and of course keep using your ultimate powers once they recharge immediately they will give you a lot of spare time.

Once you use the normal fire balls on the left side it will destroy that path which means they will waste more time rebuilding it before they reach the top again.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much! By far the best solution! Breaking the stairs like that help a lot as well.

This achievement requires that you complete the Campaign. Campaign consists of 3 chapters with 5 missions each that become more difficult as you progress. Initially, only the first mission is available. Completing each mission unlocks the next. Chapter 2 and 3 must be purchased with coins.

Succeeding in Campaign is about having the right tools: powers, passive powers, and scrolls. First and foremost this means having upgraded powers. Simply playing the Campaign may not earn you enough coins to be able to upgrade you powers to complete the missions. For this reason, it is recommended that near the beginning of the game you take the time to grind enough coins to upgrade significantly. See "Step 0" in the Roadmap for the fastest way to get coins.

In addition to having upgraded powers, it is also important to choose a valuable passive power for each mission. For most missions, I found it best to select the Elemental Spirit (maxed to 3 stars) to boost the regeneration rate of ALL your powers. In certain cases, when score is the objective of the mission, selecting the Combo Spirit (maxed to 3 stars) will be a better choice. This will help keep your combo running to earn more score. Using either the Sabotage, Slowing or Blessing scrolls is also a must. Choose which ever one fits your play style or the mission best.

The Campaign missions and their objectives are as follows:

  • Mission I: Foundations - Kill 60 workers
  • Mission II: Fire and Brimstone - Withstand 10 waves of workers
  • Mission III: False Prophets - Defeat 40 priests
  • Mission IV: Defense - Resist for 9 minutes
  • Mission V: Fall of the Ziggurat - Kill 300 workers
  • Mission VI: A New Beginning - Resist for 9 minutes
  • Mission VII: Cursed Path - Spare 25 cursed jars
  • Mission VIII: Rosary of Souls - Score 100,000 points
  • Mission IX: Sea Legs - Destroy 72 ships
  • Mission X: Under Siege - Destroy 30 construction towers
  • Mission XI: Divine Gardens - Kill 450 workers
  • Mission XII: Accursed Priests - Withstand 42 waves of workers
  • Mission XIII: Babel Towers - Destroy 5 construction towers, then defeat 25 priests
  • Mission XIV: Soul Collector - Score 500,000 points
  • Mission XV: Last Stand - Resist for 20 minutes

Some general tips for success:

  • Priests and any enemies inside their sphere will be protected from the power that is the color of their sphere.
  • Always tap the "Incoming Ships" button to fire on the docking boats. If you skip this, the amount of enemies afterwards will be greatly increased. Try to sink as many as possible to minimize the workers coming up.
  • Switching powers rapidly is key. Use everything you have. Doing this means you should rarely have to wait for a power to regenerate.
  • Avoid cursed jars (purple smoking containers). They will temporarily disable whatever power you used to destroy them.
  • Focus early. As workers move up the tower, it will be more difficult to keep track of them.

This trophy is not very difficult, but there is level 7, don’t break 25 cursed vessels and level 10, destroy 30 towers, it’s quite difficult. Tip: choose an overview so that both stairs are visible - this will make the game easier.
