How to unlock the Untouchable achievement in Bakugan: Defenders of the Core - Definitive Guide

To do a perfect combo breaker you have to press LT as soon as the enemy is doing a combo.

You have to do 10 perfect combo breakers in a single match (not round) to unlock the achievement.

Easiest done in Battle arena mode, if you cant make it against the CPU you can use a second controller in Duel to make it easy.

Tip: Use 2 controllers, Press X with player 2, then press X again
Player 1 waits 0,5-1 sec after Player 2 has pressed X for the second time and press LT.
Then you should get a perfect combo breaker. Its all about the timing.

This is, imho no "easy" achievement. I've played the game couple times thru and then started to grind on Arena.

I've tried everything. Playing normal. Just trying to get this achievement playing versus CPU or with second controller. (not, "very easy")

Unable to get this. Tried button smashing, tried to be careful with timing etc. No luck.

Can someone explain to me, how is "perfect" different from nromal combo breaker?

A perfect combo breaker is when you do a combo break immediately as soon as the opponent starts a combo. You have to press LT as soon as ti shows up at the screen and if you success with a perfect combo your opponent will stumble back and his shield flash up.

To clarify your opponent wont hit you before you do the combo breaker for it to count as a perfect combo breaker.

A tip is to use 2 controllers, Press X with player 2, then press X again
Player 1 waits 0,5-1 sec after Player 2 has pressed X for the second time and press LT

Tada A perfect combo breaker, its all about the timing.

Hope this helps and sry for bad english!

Best to set it to five rounds if you're going for this one.

If you are doing the 2 controller method have Wilda do the punching. As soon as you hit X the second time, block. After failing to do it in a 3 round match I got it in the first 100 seconds using this method.

Found this info!

It might help!

An imperfect combo breaker is when you see "BREAK" and you fly backwards.

If you do a perfect combo breaker, you see "BREAK" but instead of flying backwards you stand still and see something looking like a rainbow shattering. It has nothing to do with taking no damage.

You cannot block the first hit of a combo. If you block any first hit, it's just a deflection, because they haven't started a combo yet. If you hit block between the first and second hit, you can get a combo breaker. The difference between imperfect and perfect is timing, not how soon you do it. Figure out how to get a perfect break, then work on replicating the timing with two controllers.

I will try to get this one tomorrow following this info.

I struggled badly with this and the other guide did not help me.

I found this info and it clarify things but I still struggled!

Use the 2nd controller trick and set the options to 5 duels just to be sure and change life bar to maximum.

To make it easy you should use the right characters too!

Block with Elfin!

Attack with Nemus!

I got the achievement after about 15 attacks doing that!
While when I used other characters I could not even get the achievement within 5 rounds.

Also best done in the interstellar level!

To do a combo breaker, press roughly when the icon prompts you to press it in the middle of being pummeled by an opponent's combo. If successful, you'll see the word "BREAK" appear on the screen. If you do an imperfectly timed combo breaker, you'll see the two Bakugan fly apart from each other. If you do it perfectly, you'll see what looks like your shield shatter into a rainbow for a split second, and you will not fly apart from each other. Getting Denied! isn't too hard, as it lets you do a combination of imperfect and perfect breakers to get the trophy. Untouchable is a lot harder.

To get Untouchable, I highly recommend you do this in a two player duel with two controllers. In order to get your Bakugan to survive long enough to do this in one round, choose Bakugan who have high defense or at least let the one you're attacking have a type advantage over you. Set health for the one you're pummeling to 150%.

Now, let your attacking Bakugan do a two-hit combo. Just hit , OR ,. Then almost immediately after the second button press, hit on the other controller. You're going to need one controller in each hand to do this fast enough. It may take some tries to get the timing down. Once you see the sparkly rainbow break, you have done it correctly. Replicate your success until you can do it 10 times in a single round of fighting.
