After you've restored the bastion completely, you'll have to choose whether you want to restore the old world or stay. Choose the latter one to embrace the New World. This will only net you this achievement. You won't get The End (Using the bastion to restore the old world). But since you need a second playthrough for Calamity Kid (Beating New Game +), just pick one choice the first time and the other one the second time around.
The, Pants, Party
At the end of the game you will have two options to choose from. To unlock this achievement, choose "Evacuation." Make sure you do the opposite on your other playthrough.

At the end of the game, you will be tasked in choosing between two different options in how you want to proceed with the Bastion. To unlock this trophy, follow Zia's suggestion and choose: Evacuation
Remember to make the opposite choice in your NG+ to unlock "The End" if you picked this option on your first playthrough.
