New update 1.1 TU: Rangers and LATV can no longer be deployed in Hazard Zone. Players required to start a HZ match has been reduced to 16 but lobby size is still 32.

You can also check how many players/squads are left in the match by pausing and going to squads. AI will spawn at the extractions by parachuting in or driving a vehicle and they do hit hard.
