Below are the challenges you need to complete to obtain the ten new weapons in the Karkand expansion.

L85A2 (unlock FAMAS to enable this challenge)
100 Assault Rifle Kills
20 kills with Underslung M320. (Can be the separate gun or the attachment)
Win 5 matches of Squad Deathmatch

QBZ-95B (Unlock G53 to enable this challenge)
50 AT RPG Kills
1 Enemy Vehicle Destroyed with Repair Tool (Great tip from BadTriangle, destroying enemy equipment counts for this)

2 Mortar Kills (Beware, you must rank up four times - 40k exp in Support to unlock the Mortar)

Once you've unlocked all of the weapons remember you need to get 10 kills with them

Edits: As mentioned in the comments section by Cenrail, you don't have to actually unlock each weapon, you can just pick it up from a someone else who dropped it and get the 10 kills needed.

Also matdan12 mentions, these requirements don't have to be met on the new maps. Any maps will do.

As Scruffy McGuffy, DBB Klikopedia and BigWorthless confirm, none of the challenges have to be done in specific classes apart from the obvious ones, snipe kills, LMG kills etc Therefore it's best to unlock the complete first tier of challenges first. Try to get 2 hours on Strike at Karkand done so the time starts counting for Sharqi and Oman as soon as possible too.

If you get the 10 kills with every weapon and it doesn't unlock. Simply get 10 more kills with the Famas in one match and it should unlock (Any DLC gun may work but the Famas definitely does)Not sure why this happens, but it seems to be common.

If that still doesn't work then you may need to get 10 kils with each weapon in one sitting, It seems that some counts are being reset when turning your 360 off

I would guess from the solution, that you have to get 10 revives and 10 heals to obtain the FAMAS.

You can do this on any map in the game so that means older maps like Seine Crossing also work for the assignments.

It might be helpfull to mention that you can also simply pick up the weapons dropped by others and use those to get your ten kills rather than actually completing the challenges yourself. sure , you rely on luck or teamwork but it can save some time . +1 from me.

@Cenrail, great thinking!! that means if a group of 8 people have all the different guns between them they could just boost this achievement by going into squad rush and trading guns taking it in turns to get 10 kills with each.

Shoot two rockets at the tank and run up to it and pull out your torch, as long has the last thing that hit the enemy tank was the blow torch and blows up, you can complete the challenge. I've unlocked it that way, didn't even kill the driver just the tank.

@LAFTA - that wouldn't count. If the driver bails the tank becomes neutral and you start repairing instead.

Hirsute, my theory was that once the driver bailed he no longer used the torch, then the health ticked down inevitably.

Just a heads up it is easiest if you unlock the first assignments for recon and support first as you can idly rack up headshots, suppressions, and spots while going for all the other objectives. This way you dont have to focus on those specific things.

Anyone having trouble with the vehicle torch kill: enemy equipment counts. I got it off a SOFLAM, but i would imagine the spawn beacon/mortar/tugs would all work too.

Tehran Highway (Conquest) for mortar kills.
Damavand Peak (Rush) for MAV spot assists, also pressing the back button counts so I presume that the TUGS works as well.
Any tips for rocket kills?

Always take the high ground. Rockets have to travel a certain distance before reaching maximum explosive capability, so running orund close combat with one won't work.

Learnt the arc of the RPG over long range and you will soon be racking them up. Obviouly go for vehicles, people in windows or standing against walls are easiest.

AT RPG just means either non-lock on RPG. You know the standard ones you start with. For the spot assists, just tag everyone you see, these should come naturally. I got this just by playing but I literally spot everything.

i can confirm that the famas works to unlock the achievement. my kills totals were; Famas-282, L85A2-13, G53-75, QBZ95B-26, PP19-24, MK3A1-14, MG36-26, QBB95-16, L96-15, QBU88-14. and i had no achievement, joined a new game got 10 kills with the Famas and it popped right away.

ShottyEddie, it's the M320 in the assault kit. DreamerUSA, the only thing I can suggest is to go back through and get 10 kills wth each again. You're the first person I know that the 10 famas kills in a round didn't work for. Have you definitely got 10 with each? Chck www.battlelog.battlefield.com for your exact stats with each weapon.

For the QBZ-95B unlock, I did get the repair tool portion from destroying a MAV, so I can confirm that. I could not get it trying to destroy mines, ammo packs or health packs.

A way to keep track that you have gotten 10 kills with the weapon is that you get your first attachment it unlocks for each weapon at 10 kills

For the QBZ-95B , you need 50 AT RPG kills. Does the smaw also count towards it? From what I've learned, you only get the RPG if you are RUSSIAN, and the SMAW otherwise.

For the repair torch you can also just go up and use it on a person like you would use the knife. Takes a bit longer than a knife kill though but if they are lying down facing away from you they won't be able to get up in time or move round. Easier than killing a tank or another m/v with it.

You seem to be confused HorZa IX. There are two requirements for kills with the Repair Torch.

One is to get a kill with it, which is what you describe. (killing a vehilce would also work as long as the driver/passeneger dies.)

Then there is the Vehicle Repair Torch kill, which must be a vehicle/equipment.

Ive gotten 10 with every Karkand weapon in a round just to try to see if the achievo would pop, then Ive been trying the famas and Ive been getting 20 to 40 kills in round. I'm almost ready to give up on it but I'm a give that restart trick a try. If that doesn't work I'm just going to start playing with another weapon. LOL I love this game anyways!

Not to be rude, but you DEFINITELY have the 10 kills with each gun right? Check www.battlelog.battlefield.com against the list of weapons just to be sure. If that's not the problem, then you're the first person to encounter a perma glitch to my knowledge, everyone else has worked it out in the end.

If you're struggling with Squad DM it's worth remembering that you can change squads, I got a couple of victories by jumping onto the winning squad when they only had 3 players but were within 4 or 5 kills of winning.

Is it possible to get the achievement without unlocking the weapons? I mean you pick up the weapons from the ground and than get 10 kills with each of them... of course not in one round.. Because with a friend, who owns all of them can make it a lot more faster..Can anyone confirm this?

I have over 50 kills with nearly every gun in the game and still have not gotten it. I have tried using the Famas and got 23 kills with it. Still nothing. My friend told me that it worked if you got 10 kills on team deathmatch with it. Got 17 kills and still nothing! anybody who can help me out?

Check C4XPSLOSIVES comment, 7 above yours. He suggests that he had to get 10 kills with each weapon in one sitting. Resetting his xbox seemed to reset his count. I hope this helps.

I got this last night. I got 10+ kills with all weapons and nothing. I then used the FAMAS and got somewhere between 15 and 25 kills with it - including 13 in a TDM game. Popped randomly in the game after a kill. I wish developers would get their shite together on achievements. Hello? Terminal Reality? Ghostbusters?????????

Confirmed again... after getting at least 10 with all weapons, no achievement....then 10 kills with the Famas..and bam..it popped right in the middle of the game.

Didn't pop for me after my "last" 10th kill, tried the FAMAS trick getting ten more kills, no pop, finally tonight I followed what a few here suggested, went through again and got ten more kills with each gun in one sitting, popped on the 100th required kill (10 guns x 10 kills) so I'm giving a +1 to that solution for anyone else having this problem.

I can confirm that when it doesn't pop, it's when you've unlocked like 10x kills on 5 guns or more in one sitting. I can also confirm that you MUST REBOOT YOUR XBOX. Once I did that and the FAMAS trick it was fine. You HAVE to reboot for the FAMAS, I just confirmed this.

Gorkah is wrong. I can confirm you don't have to reboot for the FAMAS. I did 5+ guns in one sitting, didn't unlock so I looked here. Used the FAMAS for 10 kills and it popped. No reboot. Try not to post facts unless others have confirmed it too. It's clear that what works for some, doesn't for others.

Very helpful guide. Did all 10 guns in one sitting, and on my last gun (L96) was on 13 kills and my internet connection died!!! Nearly had kittens. Rebooted and owned in TDM Sharqi and it popped on the 10th kill.

@ Daemonhunter 7 you do realize for complete warrior it HAS to be in ONE life . and for bullseye idk if your doing it right cause im not in your game but if you do it right when you get to the final part of the level which you go up some stairs outside if their are cops their restart you alerted someone somewhere if not you should be good . hope this helps good luck

Finally got my chievo, what I did was:
1) Erase online pass, B2K DLC, Rent a server update and everything else(HD texture pack etc) from my HDD.
2) Reboot 360.
3) Re-install/download it all.
4) 10 kills in 1 round with FAMAS.

So if anyone else hits this problem, give it a try, might work for you too!

Thumbs up. Just confirming a few things based on my experience:

-I unlocked weapons as they became available. So the 10 kills do not have to be after unlocking them all, best to just do them as you unlock each as it's easier to track.
-I can confirm that getting the 10 FAMAS kills in one match, if your achievement is glitched, does indeed work on any map and any gametype. Best to do a more close quarters map like Metro in my opinion.
-You don't need to do them in one sitting either, best to turn your xbox off and back on...then do the 10 FAMAS kills in one match...if you are having troubles. I actually came back the next day and did it.
-Achievement unlocked mid-game when you get the last kill you need.

Just my experiences, hopefully your experiences don't differ too much. GREAT game.

I havent unlocked the mk3 but got 10 kills with it(do I actually have to unlock it???) and every other gun and nothing. Even went back and got an additional 10+ kills with the famas. Nothing. OBGN Tromain I'll try what you did then will comment again.

I've been experiencing some problems with the AT rocket kills. In Close Quarters, Javelin kills all count towards the counter, but after playing a match in which I shot down several helicopters (+pilot kills), I had only received a couple of kills toward the 50. Has anyone else been having this problem?

The kills only count if you actually kill someone. If the person gets revived it doesn't count as a kill eventhough you get credit for it. If you boost this just kill and don't revive. Look on battlefield stat site to your kills with weapons. They get updated after every match. Use ctrl-f and then type the name of the weapon the see how much kills you got.

The MK3A1 (which is the most annoying to unlock) is available in Gun Master mode. So, you don't have to unlock it. =D

I'm still having trouble in this achievement, I already excludes all my DLCs, wiped cache, and downloaded all over again, I made 20 kills FAMAS and nothing out of the conquest. now kills weapons of B2K DLC is like this:

The best piece of advice I can give is that using revives seems to make most of your kills not count for some ridiculous reason. I was fourth in a rotation of four people to get all the Gunslinger and Close Quarters gun kills and I made everyone use respawn beacons instead of revive each other (as the owner of the server and the host of the session). I was the only one who had the achievement unlock exactly on time. If you know you got a majority of the kills via revives (i.e. boosting) then dashboard and do them all again with fresh respawns via a respawn beacon.

If you got all of those kills in actual multiplayer matches, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm fairly sure knife kills from any class work towards the Spec Ops "5 knife kills" assignment. Keep an eye on that stat before you knife anyone and see if it ticks up...

For killing a person or vehicle with the repair torch, an easy way is to boost with a friend. Some times you get put on opposite teams, if not you can some times switch during the game. I have destroyed a vehicle with someone still in it in the past, legit, but it's not exactly a common event.

I can confirm. If you get ten kills with each weapon and it has not popped, take the FAMAS and get ten kills with it in one match. I did this and it popped for me.

When the '10 Famas kills in a round' doesn't work, the suggested fix, (comment above by Randy Explosion) is to restart your 360 and get '10 Famas kills in a round' again.

You say you have over 1000 kills with the Famas, but do you have 10 in one round prior to getting 10 with every Karkand weapon?

So I got my achievement the other day, when I went to go look at my customization gun's I noticed all my karkand guns had that yellow mark as if I just unlocked them so I just got 10 kill's with all then did the famas trick and the achievo unlocked, but I did so with out turning off my 360 LOL. Every time I turn it of I notice the yellow marks on the guns weird right, but I hope this helps people in the future, once again thanks.

i also can cofirm that you have to reboot your box after you completed all 10 kills 2nd time

yesterday the famas should be my last weapon - after 13 kills - no achievement
today i started with famas - after over 10 kills - no achievement
all other weapons again

- 10+ kills - no achievement
leaving lobby - new search - famas - 10+ kills - no achievement
reboot - famas - 10 kills - achievement

Great guide, sadly my chievo is glitched to hell. Got the 10+kills with each weapon.. no chievo. Got 10+ kills with FAMAS.. no chievo. Rebooted 10+ more with FAMAS.. no chievo. Got 10+ kills with each weapon AGAIN.. no chievo.. yet another 10+ with FAMAS.. no chievo!

I had no problem whatsoever with this achievement, but I also definitely did not have any kills with any of the required weapons before I went for this and I was the owner of the rented server. I had a friend who had completed the game and he simply spawned with weapons for me, though we used respawn beacons and not revives.

Everyone else in my group had an issue with this unlocking late, though, and it seems like the secret is getting ten kills with each weapon, having everyone exit the server, then checking their battlelog for the kills the game requires before the achievement registers. For an example, one of our group definitely got a minimum of 10 kills with each weapon, but after exiting the server, the battlelog said he needed 4 kills with an LMG and 2 with a sniper. After getting those, the achievement popped.

Got 16 kills in one round with the L85A2 (Assault) and didn't unlock the achieve, but after getting 10 kills with the FAMAS it did indeed work, thanks.

Tip for the repair torch vehicle destroy if you can't find equipment to destroy, load up a game on Noshair Canals and play as defense, the AMTRAC vehicle thing stays hostile as it's a spawn point so just fire a rocket at it to disable, kill the guy driving and then run up and torch it to death. I got it this way because i couldn't find any mortars!

Best way I found to get BTR-90 kills is load up Gulf of Oman Conquest (not assault) and play as RU. Just keep spawning at the base and take it when it respawns.

Nowadays if you are boosting for this achievement or playing legit, the amount of kills you obtain towards the related gun can be buggy since even though you already have 10 kills on each of the guns, it is possible that some of those kills aren't registered. So the recommendation when your working on the guns is to get around 12 - 15 kills each to guarantee that 10 kills have been placed.

However if that doesn't work another method is to log into Battlelog and then look at the weapons that are related to this achievement. That way it will show you how many kills you've exactly got. But the website will not be updated until you have completed the match you have been playing on, so make sure you complete the match before you check your stats on the weapons, otherwise they will all still say the same status as what they we're before. For me and my team we used this method but when I didn't get the achievement, it turned out I needed 1 kill on one of the Support weapons because it said 9. Even though I reckon I got around 17 - 20 kills with it.

The MK3A1 is pretty hard to unlock, so if you have Premium play some Gun Master. If you do good enough, you will eventually have to get 2 kills with the MK3A1. I thought this was a much easier way to get this weapon than trying to pick it off a dead body or unlock it. It saves you at least 4 hours:)

The quickest way to get the kills with these weapons without unlocking is through Gun Master. This will save a chunk of time. Best way to do this is with 4 players. 1 person will need to rent a server and then you play Gun Master with the different weapon sets as detailed below. With the rented server, to change the weapon set go to presets then create new preset and scroll down the list of options until you find the gun master weapon set. Change it as required then play 5 rounds on that set to get the 10 kills

The weapon sets needed are as follows, play 5 rounds of each

Heavy Gear weapon set includes FAMAS & QBB-95

EU Arms Race weapon set includes L85A2 & MG36

Snipers Delight weapon set includes QBU-88 & L96

Normal weapon set includes PP-19 & MK3A1 (you only need to get to level 8 on this rather than 17. You can quit after level 8 and getting two kills with each of the required weapons and it will still count however XP obtained will not)

This then leaves these two to unlock

G53 - 10 repairs and 1 repair torch kill (easily done)
QBZ-95B - this one takes a bit of time, you need to have G53 unlocked to unlock the assignment for this then get

50 rocket kills
Destroy 1 enemy vehicle with the repair torch
Win 5 rounds of conquest

For the conquest rounds set the required number of TKs to 10% in the map rotation settings and it will be very quick.

Remember for these last two guns only one player needs to unlock each. Once unlocked play some TDM and each player gets the 10 kills. As previously stated if the players who do not have the weapon unlocked kill the player who does and pick up their loadout the kills will count. Quickest method is team being killed keep respawning next to player doing the killing using a radio beacon (recon class)

To stop the parachuting in when using tge beacon place the beacon indoors and you will spawn on the ground. Factory on Sabalan Pipeline map is good for this

Also the server owner can move players to different teams to make it 3v1 with the player on their own getting the kilks. That speeds it up a bit as well giving them 3 to kill rather than 2. To do this hit start, server settings, manage players, select who you want to move, hit A and they will die and re-spawn on other team.

This method of using Gun Master still takes a bit of time (5-8 mins per round with 4 players) but it means you don't need the 6 hours play time to unlock the PP-19 and MK3A1 and don't need support class to level up 4 times for the QBB-95

You don't have these weapons at the start of the DLC. These are all weapons you must unlock by completing assignments! Here is a link of said assignments: Assignments

You must complete the Tier 1 assignments to unlock the 2nd tier assignments for each class.

Assault Tier 1: FAMAS – “Best Friend Forever”

10 Revives
10 Heals

Play as the Assault class with med-packs equipped. Revive 10 teammates and get 10 heals and you receive the FAMAS which is an excellent assault rifle.

Assault Tier 2: L85A2 – “Professional Russian”

100 Assault rifle kills
20 Grenade launcher kills
Win 5 Squad Deathmatch rounds

Bust out that newly acquired Famas and kill 100 with it, use the M320 grenade launcher attachment (unlocked at 11000xp in Assault) and get 20 kills with that. Then play some Squad Deathmatch and get 5 wins.

Engineer Tier 1: G53 – “Fixing it”

10 Repairs
1 Kill with the repair tool

Play as Engineer class and keep that repair tool handy! Get 10 repairs on team vehicles and get 1 kill.. preferably sneak up behind someone and burn them to death!

Engineer Tier 2: QBZ-95B – “It goes Boom!”

50 Kills with AT rocket
1 Enemy vehicle destroyed using the repair tool
Win 5 Conquest rounds

Play as Engineer, use the SMAW (US) or the RPG (RU) and kill folks. Blowing up a tank with 2 people in it with a Rocket will count toward your total. Destroying a vehicle with the repair tool can be kinda tricky, but you can destroy anything! What I mean is, an enemy spawn beacon, a MAV or a T-UGS will all count. I personally got mine by destroying an LAV at an enemy spawn point with no one in it. Then be on the winning team for 5 rounds of Conquest.

Support Tier 1: QBB-95 – “Let it rain”

20 Kills with Light Machine Guns
2 Mortar kills

Get 20 kills with any LMG in any match. Now for the mortal kills, I personally did not have the mortal unlocked. But I came across a poor fellow in a not so safe area with his mortar deployed; I killed him and took his kit and got my mortar kills that way.

Support Tier 2: MG36 – “Keep your head down”

100 Kills with Light MG
50 Suppression Assists
50 Ammo Resupply Assists

Get lots of kills with that new QBB that you just got while getting some suppression assists here and there. Keep throwing down ammo boxes for teammates and snipers hanging back and you'll have that done in no time.

Recon Tier 1: QBU-88 – “Specops”

20 Kills with sniper
6 Laser designations

You have to use a sniper rifle for this assignment.. can't use a PDW weapon this time. Get 20 kills any way you can. Now for the laser designations you must use the SOFLAM (unlocked at 26000 recon score) and lock on to vehicles in the area. Once you lock onto a vehicle and have solid tone.. that counts as a designation.

Recon Tier 2: L96 – “Creeping Death”

50 Headshots
50 Spot Assists
5 Knife kills

The beauty of this assignment is that it can be done with any class. So any headshot and any spot assist (by pressing Select while targeting an enemy or vehicle) will count. Same goes for knife kills!

Any class Tier 1: PP-19 – “Familiar Territory”

ARM 10 MCOM stations
10 Flag captures
2 Hours played on Strike at Karkand

Play some Rush and you just have to arm the M-Com, it doesn't have to explode! So if you arm one, an enemy defuses it and you arm it again.. that counts as two. Play some conquest and cap those flags! Play specifically on the map "Strike at Karkand" for two hours.

Any class Tier 2: MK3A1 – “Scarred Veteran”

10 Kills with the PP-19
6 Kills with the DPV Jeep
10 Kills with the BTR-90 APC
2 Hours played on Sharqi Peninsula
2 Hours played on Gulf of Oman

Once you unlock the PP-19 (which is a pretty good gun) get 10 kills with it. Make sure you are in the DPV (not the VDV Buggy) and run down some enemies in it. I personally just ran loops on the streets of Gulf of Oman and ran people down. The BTR-90 is generally only found on the Russian team of Gulf of Oman on Conquest only (not Conquest Assault). Then play 2 hours each on the specific maps.
