How to unlock the Dirty Job achievement in Battlefield 4 - Definitive Guide

Go to D-Flag. Go down to the room with the laptop to trigger the levolution event (tower detonation). Behind the MG 32 Grenade Launcher is the entrance to the tunnel. Must be attained in a populated server. Any questions or suggestions feel free to let me know!


EDIT: Apparently you must be the first person through the tunnel for this to unlock. So get some fast transport and get to D flag as quickly as you can to earn the achievement. Thanks I Spiritus I for heads up.

Does the achievement unlock if there's no one in the server?

The tower was still standing when I got the achievement. No idea if I was the first through it! The gate was unbroken when I went through it though. Did you leave the tunnel through the water?

The achievement description doesn't say find it first, so I don't know! Some of these achievements may be glitchy. I tried the Blind Bombing one on Oman and its not unlocking!

It did not unlock for me. The tower was down and the gate was broken.

I got it with the reverse of your video, coming from the US side right at the start of the round I swam under the wall, ran to the pipe and it popped just as I was going up the ladder, I didn't have to touch the grate but it was unbroken.

When I unlocked it I went through the water entrance first. It unlocked when I was in the tunnel, I did not break the gate as I killed the person that did, that was climbing down the ladder.

I got this last night in a Rush server. Both fences were cut already and it still popped for me. Though I can't be completely sure I was or was not the first person through the tunnels.

You definitely have to be the first through, because I had a couple of failed attempts. When I did unlock this it was on a Team Deathmatch server.

You don't have to be the first through if you join late. If you join late, get there before anyone else and it will still pop.

My friend got this right at the start of conquest match. He was the first one in there. We swam in from the water side. I was about 15 seconds behind him, following him. When I got the top of the ladder, the acheivement popped for me too. So obviously it doesnt have to be the first person in there. I just think it is very glitchy. Maybe it is fixed now as they patched the other achievements. So maybe this one works normally now.

just got the achievement. i joined a game in the middle of a conquest round and the levolution event already happened. swam into the tunnel and it popped when i got to the ladder.

You definitely do not have to be the 1st person...I got it late in a game and I even passed two players coming out of the tunnel.

It didn't have to be the first person. Several teammates run through the tunnel and it still got it!

Two friends got the achievement in one game, you do not have to be the first one through.

You don't have to destroy the tower either. I went down the tunnel and to where the water starts and the cheevo popped for me.

I got the achievement when the tower had fallen and I did not break the fens I join a game Halfway Through spawned at the tower and the tower was on the ground I went down the stares and saw a broken fence decided to explore and ended up in a tunnel swam out and got the achievement by accident

Hey guys me and a friend are looking for help to do these DLC Achievements on the Xbox One. Both China Rising and Second Assault DLCs. We both got a refund on Premium so any time soon will no longer have the DLCs... Just need 2 more players and we can all take in turns getting each one. Easy enough. Just unlocked it... and again, thanks to Xbox One Game DVR I can show you how i got it.smile

After multiple attempts, i think i figured it out.

(3) requirements

#1.You have to do this in a match.

#2. I believe that the "levolution" event in Caspian Border cannot have been triggered, meaning, the tower needs to be still standing.

#3. The gate at the end/beginning of the tunnel (depending on which way you're entering it from) needs to be broken by YOU as well.

Good luck, and get to that tunnel/gate fast!

I have never been able to be the first person there and cannot unlock it just by going through the tunnel. The game also needs to be active I believe. You cannot do this on an empty server.

You do not have to be the first person to go through. I was following my buddy at the beginning of a Conquest match. We went in through the water entrance. He got the achievement. I was about 15 seconds behind him. I got the achievement as well when I got in to the room above the ladder.

Got this recently. Can only add to the mystery. I entered via the drain into the river. Swam up into tunnel to see a teammate already there. Thought i will have to wait till next round of CB but it popped?? grates where already cut when i got there.

only conclusion i can see is you must enter from the river.
note: not sure if timer to take down tower had started.

I joined a Conquest game. The grate was already cut, no idea if anyone else had been through the tunnel but I unlocked the achievement. I went down through the tower at D.
I don't think the levolution had been triggered.

Difficulty: Easy

Play a large scale game on Caspian Border, like Conquest, and head to point D.
To simplify this you'll want to do a server search so you can find only games on this map.
There's a lake around one side and a barely visible pipe in the water.
Dive at the pipe and swim through. You'll get the trophy at the other end after a bit of running (It's not too far at all).

There’s a hidden tunnel in the river that runs between C and D flag (B and C flag on the PS3 a.k.a. Conquest Small version). Dive underneath the water by pressing to get through the tunnel entrance and then dive up. Once in the tunnel, the trophy will pop. See the video below showing the exact location of the tunnel (at around 0:50 min).

Alternatively, you can simply enter the tunnel from the other side, the entrances being the tall, green tower and a building next to it at D flag (C flag on the PS3). Thanks to AlphaCookie for the tip.

By the D flag if your playing conquest there is a lake on the side with the huge wall that divides the map. In that lake there is a drain pipe that you can enter by swimming under water. When you enter make sure you go all the way through to get the trophy.

The tunnel is located underground, below the D flag (Hilltop) in Conquest. Enter the main small building on hilltop, go down the stairs into the room with the laptop where you’re able to trigger the tower levolution event (but do not trigger it) and you will see behind some boxes a vent. Knife through both fences of the vent, go down the ladder, sprint to the exit where you will swim out from under and end up in front of the Forest flag. The achievement will unlock once you’re in the water.

This can be done in either Rush, Conquest or Capture the Flag and the game must have at least 4 players present, this cannot be done in pre-game or alone. The achievement will only unlock for the first person in the match to enter the tunnel which makes this quite difficult. Also, the levolution event cannot have happened at the time of entering the tunnel, if the tower has fallen then the achievement will not unlock.

The video below shows how to go through the tunnel by entering under water from the exit.
