How to unlock the Clean sweep achievement in Battlefield: Bad Company - Definitive Guide

In order to unlock this achievement you must find and pick up all 28 collectible weapons in the game, AND all 30 gold bar in the game. I am including the video guide I used, it was extremely helpful. The way this video is set up is it breaks down each area of each mission with text overlay of where the gold bars and weapons are. I recommend pausing the video in each area until you have gotten all of the collectibles available, then moving on to the next area. The video is presented in slideshow fashion, so it is necessary to pause it appropriately. I will also include a list of all of the collectible weapons, and roughly the order in which I got them. This is at your discretion however, as the levels provide you the opportunity, in most cases, to get these in whichever order you like.

just a small note, you don't need the gold bars for this achievement. Only the weapons are required

You collect collectable weapons simply by picking them up and holding onto them for a second. For the most part collectable weapons can be found laying around on the map, if you see a X on your map it indicates that either a gadget or a weapon is there.

The occasional weapon can only be found on enemies but for the most part they are commonly found and easily collected.

You can check your status on how many weapons you have/haven’t collected by hitting start and then going to “collectables” inside the menu.

Again there are a total of 29 weapons:

  • 5 can be found on the level “Welcome to Bad Company”
  • 1 can be found on the level “Acta Non Verba”
  • 6 can be found on the level “Crossing Over”
  • 8 can be found on the level “Par for the Course”
  • 3 can be found on the level “Crash and Grab”
  • 6 can be found on the level “Ghost Town”

This trophy isn't too hard. Just keep an eye out for boxes inside or around buildings that contain weapons and be sure to pick up any weapons from enemy soldiers that you haven't found yet. To add a weapon to your collection you just need to pick it up and hold it in your hand for a few seconds. Most weapons can be found lying around the level, however some weapons are dropped by enemies.
To view your weapon progress, press pause and select “Collectables” from the menu. On this forum you can find a detailed guide to collecting weapons.
I’ll say it again that there are only 29 types of weapons in the game:
  • 5 available at Welcome to Bad Company level
  • 1 available at level "Acta Non Verba"
  • 6 available at Crossing Over level
  • 8 available at Par for the Course level
  • 3 available in Crash and Grab level
  • 6 available in Ghost Town level

All collectible weapons and support items are indicated on the map with crosses. So no special guides are needed. We check all the crosses, and in the last chapter they should give a prize.

For the trophy you need to find all the weapons and all the ingots on all maps.

Here is the exact list of weapons on the maps:

(The list shows only the first appearances of weapons in the game, i.e. SCAR, for example, can be picked up in the first mission (Welcome to Bad Company), but I found it in a building in the second mission (
Acta non Verba).
