Agreed Schoochi, useless without the maps. I'd advise using the videos below.

it's a good guide. EXCEPT the images won't load. And it's pretty much useless without the images.
Example: "Gold Bar #2 In the house where the dot is, can't miss it."

Tried in on 2 different days on 2 different computers with a total of 3 browsers. Something wrong with the image server I reckon.

For those who like text and image guides like what TwyztidMynd posted but with those images gone, I've found a new one. Not sure if his locations are right but they seem right.

Gold bars are pivotal to the story line and important to your achievements. You’ll be introduced to the gold bars at the start of the second level. Each level after the first has a total of 5 gold bars that need to be found, you can check your progress on them by hitting start and then checking “Gold Left On This Map.”

Every gold bar is accompanied by a “Acta Non Verba” sign nearby. You’ll be introduced to the sign at the start of the second level and from then on you should keep and eye out for the sign. They’re easy to spot as they are white and red and most things around are either green, blue, or brown.

I recommend collecting all the gold on your second play through of the game so that you know the level better than your first play through.

This trophy is the same idea as the Clean Sweep trophy, except that Gold Bars are usually in places you wouldn't normally look. Just keep an eye out for the boxes and it won't be hard. There are 30 gold bars in total, 5 on each chapter with the exception of the ‘Welcome to Bad Company’ chapter. Gold bars are the main plot of the game and they all need to be collected to get this trophy. You will be first introduced to them at the beginning of the second level. At each level you can find 5 ingots, with the exception of only the first level. You can find the current number of bars by pausing the game and looking at “Gold Left On This Map”. Next to each such bar there is a sign “Acta Non Verba” (Not in words, but in deeds), so it’s hard to miss them. On this forum you can find a detailed guide showing the location of all the bars.
