In any Versus match, have the person have at least 5000 more health than you, and then taunt. I believe the health gauge is out of 10000. Taunt is the Left Bumper.

Easiest way to get this will be with two controllers in versus mode. Pick any two characters with both controllers. Then control the second player. Get the heath down to about 50% or lower and then press left bumper on the second controller. This only works if you are player 1 and player 2 is the one that gets you down to 50% health and taunts.
So to sum up the steps:
1. Player 2 beats up player 1 and gets player 2 down to 50% health or less.
2. Player 2 taunts player 1.
3. Achievement pops.
And nothing wrong with the above solution, I just didn't think it was clear on who does the damage and taunts.

This trophy is titled "Words Hurt Too" and it's for letting the opponent deal over 5,000 points worth of damage more to you than you have of them and having them taunt you. This is easily rigged with two controllers or another friend, it'd be a bit tougher with the Ai as letting them beat you is no big deal but forcing them to taunt is another story.
When facing another controller/player simply have them weaken you to 1/4 health or so just to be safe, then have the second controller press L1 to taunt. Win the round and repeat if you're trying to earn this for a partner as well. There you have it, a very simple silver trophy!

Just have your opponent kick your butt and then have them taunt you with 
. Note that the life bar is 10,000 for most characters so use that as a meter to verify when you can taunt for your trophy.
