How to unlock the I Can Do This All Night achievement in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - Definitive Guide

This achievement is "I Can Do This All Night." It is unlocked by spending a full hour in the Training mode practicing. You can pause the game to bring up the options menu, but I'd avoid going back out to character select. This achievement will not unlock if your screen dims from going idle too long, so you'll have to be active or possibly use a turbo controller. As this is a game where practice makes perfect, it might be a good time to practice a character you're not good at, or refine combos of those you are.

I used a turbo controller to spam light jabs for one hour 20 minutes and this achievement didn't unlock. Not sure what the issue was.

It's likely that a turbo doesn't work then. Some games can tell that you're just idling with a turbo and don't unlock timed achievements properly.

If I search for a Ranked Match while playing, will my timer reset when I get into one?

IT WORKS WITH A TURBO CONTROLLER!!!
Must be done in one sitting
Pick Lambda, Beginner Mode, push the opponent to the corner, hold X button on Turbo Mode and wait for an hour

For this you can just go into Training mode and train inputting movement for 1 hour, after the hour you just have to make contact with your opponent and the trophy will unlock; idle movement won't count. If you have a turbo controller of some sort you can also set the turbo one something such as 6D/  on your character (using a rubber band or something of the sort to hold down the direction button) and make sure the move is making contact with the opponent, leave and come back to a trophy. To be on the safe side and because the D-code level isn't boostable like it was in the last game (unless you have turbo controllers), I would advise the training to improve your game a bit.

Training Tips:

  • Turn all recoveries on, if the A.I can recover out of a potential combo so can the opponents online.
  • When training with your character it's good to know all of their basic specials by heart to make it easier to make combos out of them
  • Write down some of the challenge mode combos and see if you can perfect those moves.
  • Learning visually is good by mimicking moves from other players online from past fights, random replays or online videos.
