How to unlock the Loincloth Festival achievement in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - Definitive Guide

Go to Options and set Versus rounds to one and your timer to infinite. Then go to Versus with two players/controllers. Set your controls to Beginner Mode and choose Bang. To make this easy, choose Iron Tager as your opponent. When you're in the match, build up Bang's Heat Gauge to 100% and weaken Tager until his life bar appears orange.

Walk Tager to the end of the screen and have Bang be as close as possible to him. Double jump in the air and at the peak of your second jump, hold down RT. Before you hit the ground you should have activated your Astral Heat in midair and it should have hit Tager. Let the Astral Heat play out and you'll have won the match, and you'll be back at the character select screen. Do this two more times for your achievement.

Note that this method only works on Beginner Mode. If you want to do this without Beginner Mode, you can follow most of this method, but instead of pressing RT, do a two forward half-circle motions and the Drive button. (4123641236D) Alternatively you can do the Astral Heat by doing a 720 or more degree motion on the thumbstick and press your drive button. I found this to be easier.

Any of these three methods should score you the achievement without too much trouble. Good luck!

get astral heat conditions, then jump with bang and as soon as you jump hold rt, should hit every time.

as an addition, if you're in beginner mode, spamming 6C with Tager at the screen edge is a great way to build up Heat for both sides. You get 5 or 6 per hit, Tager gets 3 per hit, and as long as you have a combo going, only the first hit does damage! Great for when you mess up and have to rebuild Heat!

720 circle really helped +1 Also, you can just repeatedly down+x with bang to build heat too. After several hits, the enemy stops taking damage.

Ah, spam down+x that is if the enemy is on the ground/recovering.

Using Bang's Astral Finish now ends with him in his Loincloth. You can simply pick beginner mode and double jump and hold to use his astral before he lands.

We set 1 round and infinite time for Versus, go into this mod (preferably two joys), select Bang Shishigami (turn on begginer mod ), opponent - Iron Tiger. We clamp Tiger in the corner. You need to fill the strip with a special move (100% Heat) for Bang and drain Tiger's HP to 20% (until the strip turns orange). Then we jump up Bang'om, when it starts to fall down we hold down . Repeat until done.
