Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using Valkenhayn."
While doing the challenge mode in BlazBlue is not an easy feat, of note is that with the latest 1.03 patch, EVERY character's challenge mode has been totally redone. Some characters got significantly easier, while others, such as Valkenhayn, I felt got much more difficult.
You can switch between the two sets by downloading and/or deleting the 1.03 patch that you can get from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Once you've done that, just enter challenge mode and you'll be able to play the different challenges.
As I said, I found Valkenhayn's new challenges a lot more difficult than his old ones. You can alternate between the two sets of challenges by choosing which version (1.03 for the newer challenges, 1.02 and below for the older challenges) of the game you want to play.

I'll point out you can just switch between the versions on the options screen, but this is an awesome function I didn't even notice (just coming to the challenges now).

Much like the previous DLC character Makoto, Valkenhayn's challenges aren't that difficult at all. Keep in mind that during the later challenges when you have to use his drive werewolf with D/
there's a bit of specific timing involved. If you're still having problems just follow the tips under "Superior State of Mind" Here is a preview of Valkenhayn's Challenges:
