Blitz: The League II

The Div 2 championship game was pretty tough for me. Unfortunately, the game's difficulty setting doesn't seem to have any effect on campaign mode.

Be sure to maximize your training for your players.
Remember the stats that don't immediately make sense: Wide receivers block down field, running backs and tight ends also block often, cornerbacks need Hands for intercepting and speed for post-catch tackles, kickers/punters need Tackle since they're usually unblocked on punts/kickoffs, defensive linebackers/ends/tackles need agility to break past blockers, defensive ends and linebackers need speed to get around the line and get sacks.

I noticed that the game seemed to "cheat" about every 2 out of 3 games. Just about all of my passes resulted in an interception and every run resulted in an injury or fumble. If you notice the computer team performing impossible matrix-esque stunts, just quit the game and start over. After a few reloads, you should be able to win without too much of a struggle.

Other than that, just play smart... don't overreact on defense, don't pass to players under triple-coverage (just run out of bounds instead). I tended to use QB Dash quite a lot, but be careful of giving your opponent the "team captain hit" bonus when you get tackled. Don't forget the hail mary then LT+Y unleashed catch. It's pretty much a guaranteed touchdown every time.
