How to unlock the "C" Is for Champion achievement in Blood Drive - Definitive Guide

If you have looked at any other guides for this game then you have probably seen that you can restart any zone in the game without penalty, this way you can keep you 1st place streak.

If you have not looked at any guides then know that this trick is the only real way to ensure you get 1st on all events.

What you may not know is that if you quit to the main menu and then retry the zone the order of the events changes.

I found this very useful as I was playing through with Natalya, who is great with the roadkill type events, but a bit crap at the checkpoint type events.

I found that on the slab in particular, I would get 3 or 4 races into the zone and then be faced with a checkpoint or King of the Skull event, which is when the AI decide to play dirty and low and behold you come 2nd and have to retry the zone.

Rather than simply retrying and meeting the same awkward race towards the end of the zone, by going back to the main menu and then retrying the zone I found that it would often put the annoying races as the first 2 or 3 and then leave me with a few easier roadkil events to finish off the zone.

Don't be scared by the ratio it's not that difficult and there is a great guide by SecondHeartbeat for the
Blood Drive"O" Is for OverachieverThe "O" Is for Overachiever achievement in Blood Drive worth 681 pointsPlace first in every Event in Tournament Mode
achievement that can give you tips on weapon loadouts.

I used that advice and got through this achievement ok, although it does get somewhat frustrating, which is why I thought I would add my tip.

Good luck

So just so I get this straight, when you quit to the main menu it saves your progress for COMPLETED zones? So you can carry on at the zone you were at but the events are in a different order?

To my knowledge that is correct.

I can't remember if I played all the way through in 1 sitting or split it, but as it takes quite a while to do everything getting 1st in every event, it's most likely I did do it in a couple of sittings.

Quiting out and carrying on at a different time works like a charm!

Ok 1st Use Nathalya!
Knowledge of the maps is primordial.
Getting Personal and Pimped are the 2 loadout i used.
All Combat event: Getting Personal.
Races and King of the skull: Pimped.
If your driving backward never turn arround with RS use the radar to drive and hit!
Retrying the zone from the pause menu will give you the same events but quitting to main menu will reset(shuffle) them.
"Continu Cup" will only be available once you won the 1st zone(5 events)
Repeatedly pressing "A" instead of keeping your thumb on RS.
Being relax and not caring too much is the key!
VIEL GLUCK!
