This achievement can be a bit frustrating, as trying to get the skull can be a pain. Once you get the skull though, it's pretty easy sailing .
To set up, go to multiplayer, host a match, and make it private. Set the game event to strategy so only King of the Skull will pop up (without having to quit to the main menu) and set the map to Ded-Lite Stadium. I prefer this map as it's all one level and in one central area aside from the very outer ring and a few ramps inside the center.
Next for your driver, I recommend Kelley. With her speed, you can catch up to any opponent, and more importantly, keep away from any opponents once you grab the skull.
For loadout, anything with Full Rage is a must in my opinion, and Random Weapon is highly preferred as Kelley's Mine Drop from my experience is not a very good weapon. Because of this, Rampage is arguably the best option (comes with Full Boost).
As for skull spawn points, it seems random, but in my experience, they've always spawned to the left, sometimes in the open, sometimes under the one bridge. Start off with boosting towards the skull, although it's not uncommon for an opponent to grab the skull first. If that happens, you have two options. Either ram the opponent with your car or you can destroy his car with your weapons. This is where your full rage becomes handy as you can use gravity well to send your opponent flying and if you're lucky, he'll be stunned briefly upon landing so you can try ramming him then. Or, if your opponent has low enough health, gravity well can destroy your opponent upon him landing. If you have the random weapon loadout, that gives you some options as well.
Once you have the skull, just drive along the edge of the map in a giant circle but without going in the outer part (into the stadium itself). Many boost and some repair powerups sit along the edge, which should be enough to give you first place. If you have any rage uses left, you can save them for if an opponent manages to actually get close, otherwise, just boost as needed and you should be able to get five wins with minimal amount of trouble.
Achievement probably takes half an hour to do. 4 minutes a match x 5 wins = 20 minutes. You're also aiming for a minimum of 1:30 a match for carrying the skull, although 2:00 should be an automatic lock for a win.

Just to add to the solution .. To make this a piece of cake to get, simply play on the level ' Flightmare ' and there is a glitch spot you can get in and the guys won't be able to touch you. You don't have to play Blood Drive online with other people to get the online achievements. You can play the game online with AI players.
Just start a private online game. If you want to get the King of The Hill achievement start a game of King of The Skull. The game will start with you and three other AI players.
