I used this ability a lot during the doppleganger boss battle and this unlocked rather quickly for me. There was a lot of splattered blood in this boss room during the fight, which also helped by needing less healing items.

After obtaining the Blood Steal shard, you can unlock this achievement rather effortlessly by traveling to the entrance and farming a lion knight using a knife. I used the Kukri weapon and had a near 100% blood drop from him resulting in 2 splashes of blood per kill.

Obviously, equip the blood steal shard and make sure you bring your healing potions and ether.(Just in case). Equip the directional shard called Heretical Grinder.(If you want to make it stronger, farm the Blood Grinder Knight). Now warp to the Oriental Sorcery Lab. Go to the Master Carpenter boss room. Right when you enter, invert and stand above him. Then go to town with the heretical grinder shard. Purple blood every where! Use your blood steal shard periodically while you fight him.
