I really love this game but if this achievement is never fixed I’ll be really pissed about it. And normally I don’t care about that kinda stuff.

I love when studios cant be bothered to remove these stupid ps4 trophy achievements and then they end up glitching.

PNibbles, this is BS, no respect for the Xbox players. That's bad.

Pnibbles there are literal idiots in charge of their "Community" at the moment, over on Reddit the official guy from 505 games kept arguing with people and telling everyone that the last patch that was 7gbs in size was just a localization patch and would not introduce the game breaking open/closed Green chest bugs. Of course it wasn't just a localization patch but indeed the game breaking one. He ate some crow the next day but everything around this game outside of the actual game itself is pretty much a disaster. I'll see what the next patch breaks that fixes this one.

Bsmittel, I wish I could say I'm surprised by your story but sadly I'm not. It's not hard to imagine that someone disconnected from the development and feature delivery process is hired as a community manager. Sounds obvious that it's a bad idea, but here we are. I see similar things in my own line of software development.

I think it's a good call to just wait for the next patch with crossed fingers. BTW, my post on the forums is simply gone. I have no DMs either nor any explanation. Real winners running that show...

Also, the phrasing from the above submission sounds like it's just a personal bug, but we are all affected. It is unobtainable for everyone. Have to be clear that it is unobtainable for everyone or they won't make it a priority to fix it over the other submitted bugs.

The unlock percentage of all gamers on Xbox Live is 0.00% meaning no one can unlock it. If even one person unlocks it, it will show 0.01%.

It's definitely glitched for everyone. I think the devs are aware about this but I don't think they prioritize it. They probably focus on the Switch version of the game.

This is why they shouldn’t add these “unlock all achievements “ achievements (mouthful I know). Anything that is dependent on unlocking an achievement prior upsets my stomach, there’s always a chance it won’t work and for it to hit everyone...they should have just left it out.

It appears you can gain the platinum in PS4 version,so what's the problem with X1 version?

Yeah, there was a new update today that just says "This update is still planned to go live by the end of September." So I guess we'll see. Hopefully by next week if all goes well.

Just completed this wonderful and amazing game to get slammed by the "get all achievements" achievement not unlocking. Being that today is the last day of september, 9/30, im not holding my breath we're getting it soon, unless it releases this afternoon... What a disappointing ending to an overall enjoyable playthrough (minus the random crashes going to save rooms and wiping progress).

New patch today, doesn't fix Overlord achievement

Bsmittel when I saw their post on Twitter, that was the frst thing I asked about. I don't mind if they first want to fix the performance issues across all the platforms, but I hope they fix this achievement one day.

That's whack. I just finally got items collector achievement the other night. Only to find out this achievement is glitched for everyone. No wonder the percentage of gamers for this achievement is still at 0.00% to this day.

Submitted a bug report, made the suggestion that instead of triggering when all achievements are unlocked, instead have it when the ingame completion reaches 100% (ie, all maps, shards, items, demons and techniques are unlocked).

Just a heads up, fix is coming, devs are aware of it, only downside it might take around 2 weeks according to the latest KS update

We're already coming up on 3 weeks past the eta for the backer DLC, so actually not holding my breath on this getting fixed soon. Deadlines and ETAs by them seem more a vague suggestion than anything else.

@MattiasAnderson... ehhhh maybe because it's a simple conversion from the PS4 trophy list, Overlord is the equivalent to a platinum trophy, that's why it's in here.

lol this shit is why I went back to PS4. Granted I didn't have many achievements and was barely on xbox a year, but i encountered so many games with blatant fuckin cheap unobtainables, just because more money on playstation.

Once again 505 games got our hopes up and failed to deliver... 505? More like 404...

Yep. Just got my "last" achievement today but no Overlord. All that grinding for naught. Wish I knew this was bugged prior to playing. Oh well.

At least they appear to be working on it unlike some developers (cough Kalypso cough). Guess they're likely delaying to release everything in one update.

Salt and Sanctuary is better than this game for 18$, most people don't know about it, check it out guys!

Note the "BY November 29" phrasing there. They can easily disrespect this promise since it's not an exact date.

I'll be filing BBB complaints toward 505 games/Artplay for not just disrespecting dates, but many blunders with their Kickstarter items not shipping to people(read the hundreds of comments on their Kickstarer update page), IGA pack supposed to be from day one. etc. I've seen less important reasons people go the route of BBB complaints, on this site and psnprofiles. This actually is worth reporting.

I'll follow up by saying that Overlord was the only remaining achievement I needed, and it unlocked while I was loading my game file. Might have unlocked on the title screen or file select had I waited longer, but that fix is indeed in place.

This should be a lesson to developers to stop putting this bullshit achievement in games.

It's just them importing the platinum trophy across but the coding doesn't translate. They really need to stop doing this, or share their correct coding with other devs...

The "Overlord" achievement didn't come to me as much as I did all of them. How I managed to solve it and I hope it works for you! Load your 100% rescue and save it in another space, then return to the menu and load the extra "Attack of the bosses" mode with this copy of the rescue you created and the achievement will explode on the screen. Hope this works for you!

Can you please say "unlock every other achievement " somewhere? This isn't obvious when looking through secret achievements from Xbox true achievement app.

Didn't unlock right away, can confirm that quitting to the main menu and reloading the save makes it pop.

Saving, quitting to the title screen and reloading doesn't work on PC Gamepass unfortunately - tried on version 1.4 on 2024-02-27. All achievements were earned on 1.4, and Item Collector was the last.

I even tried starting NG+ and killing the first boss, as some people said that worked on an older Steam version - it didn't work here. The achievement appears to be impossible to earn on PC Gamepass.

As of 4/3/2024, whoever wants to know if saving and reloading works for PC Game Pass, it doesnt. As a matter of fact, doing all the fixes in this article don't work.

I've tried a speedrun to the first boss in SpeedRun Mode, beat both courses in Boss Rush mode, loaded an old save and beat the final boss again, and pretty much other things that would trigger achievements. This is broken, and you're better off uninstalling and submitting a bug report to Bloodstained Devs.

13th April 2024. Playing game pass version. Unlocked all other achievements but Overlord did not pop. Saved game. Options/return to title. Reload game, cheevo popped straight away. This is obviously a bit flaky but it worked for me. This was on Xbox (not PC)

I created a post on the dev forums. Within an hour someone, presumably not a dev, tries to tell me Overlord is exclusive to Sony and their Platinum trophy. I'll remain cordial, but in the meantime the more supporting replies the post gets, the better.

Lol. I will not get the achievement then. :P This can't be hard for the devs to fix. I mean... I don't know anything about programming but there's probably only one string in the code (or something like that) that needs to be removed/modified for it to work properly. They just don't care about it right now. Or maybe I'm wrong.

It's been nearly 4 months and they still can't fix a single broken achievement along with a couple other bugs? What a miserable pile of secrets... err... liars.

505Games is now trolling us with stupid question PR posts on the Bloodstained official feed on Xbox One. Everyone is asking for an update and they just keep posting these. Why don't we even have a rough new date?? Nothing? Do they even know how to fix the achievement?

Patch is live. Just unlocked for me. I earned the item achievement and it didn't pop but I saved my game and then quit to the title screen and loaded my game and it popped.

I saved one achievement for this. “Bloodstained” for getting enough blood using Blood Steal. I stopped at about 960LL just so I could pop it come the patch. Overlord did not follow after getting that last achievement.

However, saving the game then going to the title screen and reloading the save popped it during the load. I saved one to make myself a Guinea pig since most had already popped every other achievement to see what kind of bugs may occur when popping the last achievement. Good thing it wasn’t detrimental at least lol

So in case anyone left off other achievements and this doesn’t pop right away, save the game, quit to title and reload the save to pop it.

As of 5/14/2024 The achievement is fixed, I saw that there was a cosmetic DLC just added to the game on gamepass and decided to try my luck with the achievement. I loaded the game and it popped up instantly! I guess there was a bug fix in the cosmetic DLC
