UPDATE: I am no longer able to offer help with this achievement ever since going Legend (prestige) which has reset my rank. I did so to unlock an avatar award item. Anyway... I just haven't gotten very many requests for such an old game that isn't backward compatible.

Note: This achievement is not obtainable in private match!
To unlock this achievement, find another player that has reached rank 50 (including players who are Legend rank 50), invite them to any of the Blur Events (Race or Motor Mash), and beat them.
Race events:
If you plan to go for this achievement in a race, you don't need to finish in 1st place (or even cross the finish line for that matter). All you need to do is be ahead of the rank 50 player (e.g. you in position 18 of 20 with the rank 50 player in position 19 of 20) at the time the race ends, which results in both players having a placement of "DNF" (Did Not Finish). The achievement unlocks on the results screen.
Motor Mash events:
This can also be done in Motor Mash. All you need to do is to have more points than the rank 50 player by wrecking other vehicles during the match before the match ends. You don't need to have the most points to get in 1st place, just enough to beat the rank 50 player. The achievement unlocks on the results screen.
Also... due to a bug in the game, it is possible to invite high-rank or low-rank players into playlists that they wouldn't normally have access to (i.e. the Driving School playlist, which is hidden from the selection after reaching rank 11). Consider this when boosting for other achievements.

I was just wondering if beating a player that has become Legend counts. Looking to boost this game and if people can get it while boosting with me that'd be great.

The best place to find guarantee Rank 50 players would be in Legend Mode, the same mode unlocked when you get Rank 50, if you want wait just play large playlist until you see a level 50.

Simply beat any level 50 player you meet online. However once a level 50 goes prestige you can no longer beat them for the achievement. If you cant find a level 50 player anywhere online then check the Achievement Trading Thread for any level 50 players willing to give you a win.
