Bombing Busters

ou unlock the Fairy Boss once you completed all of the 5 regular levels in the Fairy World.

Phase 1:

Green Ball Throw: He will throw green balls at you, which will turn into mushrooms, once they land on a tile. These mushrooms emit a sort of poison that will slow you down for a couple of seconds. You can destroy these mushrooms with your bombs but be careful that the poison won't hit you.

You can place bombs right in front of him and to each side of him. Make sure you don't run closer to him than were the bombs are placed in the screenshot (see below) or else you will die. This applies to all bosses. Thanks to the Fire-Up power-up, you can put a bomb 1 more tile away from him and he will still get hit. Make sure not to put a bomb in front of him when he's about to throw a mushroom, or else the mushroom will land right on you and kill you instantly. Always alternate between putting bombs next to the boss and the mushrooms to make sure that the entire map doesn't get filled with them.

After 5 hits he will turn red and phase 2 begins.

Phase 2:

Ground Pound: He only does that attack once at the beginning of the phase. He jumps in the air and lands, creating a shockwave that will knock you out for a bit and then slows you down for a few seconds, after you've recovered. Just stay away from him as far as possible (bottom of the arena) and you should be fine.

Green Ball Throw+ : He now throws his Green Balls much quicker at you. They still create poison that will slow you down, if you get hit by the fog they emit. Only destroy the mushrooms that are in your way during this phase. He creates them much quicker, than you can destroy them

Focus more on the boss than on the mushrooms during this phase. You can put 2 bombs close to him with a 2 second delay to get 2 hits in, to kill him quicker. Just make sure you aren't too close to him when he throws his green balls.

Another 5 hits are required to take this boss down for good.
