Bombing Busters

You can unlock the Fire Boss, once you completed all of the 5 regular levels from the Fire World.

Phase 1:

Fire Rock Rain: He roars and shakes his body. Afterwards, fire rocks will come down from the sky. Their spots are marked by a sigil so you can anticipate where they come from and dodge them. Those rocks have the same hit zone as one of your normal bombs so stay a bit away from them when dodging.

Fire Breath: A sort of dark mist starts flowing towards him when he is about to do this attack. It covers the entire area in front of him, in the form of a cone. It's best to stay to the left or right of him, when he does that attack.

Fire Rock Throw: This attack doesn't really have an indicator when it's about to happen. A sigil will start to form under your feet and he starts to throw a fire rock at that spot. Once the rock lands, it will burst out fire in a cross shape and it covers the entire line and row with flames, making it impossible to walk on it. He will throw 3 of these rocks at you and the flames will stay well into the bosses next attack. To dodge this attack, always cut a corner moving up or down. I'll include a screenshot to give you an idea. Make sure not to stay too close to the boss or he will throw a rock at you quickly, making it extremely hard, if not outright impossible, to dodge.

This is the first boss, where RNG could be a problem for you. After he finishes that rock throwing attack, he will jump to a different side of the map. Stay clear of him, because that jump emits a shockwave that can knock you down for a second or two. Depending on how much room you have left after that fire rock throw, his next attack could pose a big problem for you. If you are in a very small area and he drops fire rocks from above, you may not have enough room to dodge the attack. If he jumps to the direct opposite of where you are and he does his fire breath, you might not have enough room to dodge that either. His next attack and the spot he chooses are random. Try to dodge the fire rock throw attack in a way, where you end up having more space to dodge his follow-up attack.

The best openings for attacking him are, when he lets fire rocks fall from the sky or when he breathes fire. Just concentrate on dodging when he throws fire rocks at you.

After 5 hits, Phase 2 begins, indicated by the flames that engulf him now.

Phase 2:

Fire Rock Rain+: Same attack as before, only the rocks come down much quicker than before. Pay attention to the sigils that form on the floor and dodge accordingly.

Fire Breath: Same attack as before, didn't notice any changes.

Fire Rock Throw+: He throws these rocks much quicker at you and he throws 5 instead of 3 at you now. The same idea applies to dodge them. Cut corners and don't put yourself in a tight spot where you can't dodge the next attack. Also, stay away from him as far as possible, when he jumps to the next spot. His shockwave creates flames now, that can kill you.

Same as the first phase, just be more careful this time. Put down bombs when he breathes fire or when rocks drop from above.
