Bombing Busters

You can unlock the Spark Boss, once you completed all of the 5 regular levels from the Spark World.

Spark Ring: A tile in the arena will glow up for a second and then get hit by a thunder. This thunder turns into a spark ring that appears for a short moment and then disappears. Each time it reappears it will be bigger. After a while the boss will shoot a homing spark ball at you. This ball will follow you until you are dead or until you've destroyed it. The boss will always shoot it with his right hand. Place yourself in the row where his right hand is lined up, put a bomb there and stay in that row until the spark ball is destroyed. If you move too far away from the bomb, the ball will change it's route. To dodge the spark ring you need to get into it, when it disappeared for a moment. Trying to destroy the ball and dodging the spark ring are pretty hard to do at the same time. After these two attacks, he will curl into a ball and roll to a different side of the map. There he will do the same attacks again.

Spark Ball Rain: After he has done the Spark Ring & Spark Ball combo twice, he will start emitting electricity from his body and shoot Spark Balls in the air. These balls will always drop top-bottom or left-right, at the edges where the boss is not standing. In order to survive this attack, you have to put a bomb in the line where these spark balls are going to go. One on each end needs to be destroyed. Once these spark balls are in the air, you can pause the game a few times to see where they are going to land, thanks to their shadows and plan your drops. You absolutely must line them exactly up with the spark ball, otherwise they may not get destroyed by the bomb and you will die.

The boss always follows the same attack pattern: 2x Spark Ring → Spark Ball Rain → 2x Spark Ring →...

One unique thing about this boss is that he has a shield so in order to deal damage to him, you will always need to put down 2 bombs close to him. One for the shield and one for a direct hit. You can put down another bomb, after the first one went off, to get in a another hit but it's very risky, because the spark ring will already be in motion by then. You can try to put the second bomb in front of his right hand and then focus on dodging the spark ring. That way the bomb blows up immediately when the spark bomb goes into it and damages him but if the ring is very close to the boss, this might be very hard to pull off. Especially since the ring can detonate your bomb early. If the ring is far away, it should be possible but if it starts very close to the boss, you're safer with one hit and focusing on dodging and destroying the spark ball afterwards. Be patient and don't be greedy.

No phase 2 on this boss. 10 hits and you will have beaten the final boss of this game.
