How to unlock the Total Buster achievement in Bombing Busters - Definitive Guide

There are 25 normal levels and 5 boss levels. To get 3 stars on the normal levels, you will need to complete it in 2 minutes or less so the timer can't go below 3 minutes or else you will get 2 stars. I think there are no time requirements on the bosses, because for some of them it took me more than 2 minutes and I still got 3 stars. For tips and strategies on how to beat each of the bosses, check the trophies associated with defeating them.

Every normal level in this game is randomly generated. There are no fixed strategies to get 3 stars for each particular level but there are some tips to make things a bit easier. The layout changes with each restart and so do the enemy positions. The power-ups you get are also random. The only things that are fixed are, the amount of enemies, what kind of enemies and the environmental hazards that are present.

In general, you want to aim for the Remote Control Bomb and the Glove power-up. The Remote Control Bomb lets you detonate bombs earlier. Once you set a bomb on a tile, it will still detonate after some time so keep that in mind. There is another power-up called Spike Bomb that will overwrite your Remote Control Bomb if you pick it up. You can destroy power-ups you don't want with another bomb.

The Glove let's you pick up bombs and throw them on the 4th tile in front of you. Once you pick up a bomb, the timer for detonation stops and you can carry it around for as long as you want but once you throw it down again, the timer will continue from where it stopped and detonate once it reaches detonation time. Also, if you throw a bomb on an enemy, it will be knocked out for a couple of seconds. If you place a bomb and let the timer run down a couple of seconds, then pick up the bomb and throw it on an enemy, you could kill it with that. However, a bomb with a full timer will give the enemy enough time to recover and run away.

Bomb-Up and Fire-Up are also good power-ups to collect. The more bombs and the more firepower you have the better. Just make sure you don't put yourself in danger but with the remote and the glove you're pretty much set for 3 stars. Just need to hope that you get them asap. Didn't have too much, if any, need for the other power-ups.

If you throw a bomb out of the map, it will land on the other side of the map, from where you threw it out. This gets very important for later stages, where you face up to 7 enemies at a time with all kinds of abilities and environmental hazards and it's just too dangerous or will take too much time to go over to them. Some levels have warp portals or have wind that can carry you or your bombs somewhere else. This opens up some more options for you and your enemies. The enemies are immune to environmental hazards like wormholes or fire geysers, while you will get killed instantly.

Sadly, like already said, there are no fixed strategies to make every level easy. Aim for the Remote Control Bomb and the Glove. Once you have these, 3 stars will be a breeze. Otherwise it's going to be very difficult. You're going to restart and die a lot. If you're too frustrated with a stage, take a break and come back later. You will need patience and luck.

The layout with the glove (you can throw bombs) and the clock (you detonate the bomb yourself) helps me a lot.
you can throw bombs at your opponents behind blocks and detonate them instantly or lure opponents towards you
