How to unlock the That's how you win a match achievement in Brink - Definitive Guide

From the main menu select "Freeplay" and then "Private Game".

Game Mode: Objective
Play Mode: Solo
Map: Shipyard
Match Settings: Difficulty (Easy), Min Team Size (1)

Start the match as any class on the Resistance side. You'll want to make your way to the crane controls (outlined in yellow on your screen) as they are the primary objective you must defend. You can camp in any nearby window or concealed area, just wait for the single enemy AI player to begin repairing the crane controls. Shoot some bullets into him to down the AI and your achievement will unlock.

I had to run at him while shooting to get this.. point blank range when he died for it to finally blip
I was in one of the archways above, killed him 10 times & nothing popped, melee didn't work either

You will get this easily while playing through the game. Just kill anyone that is trying to do one of the primary objectives. This includes all types: hacking, planting charges, repairing, etc.

YOU also can be any class!
Best way to get this is by watching this video. I got it the first attempt in less then 60 sec.

Didnt "Forget" to mention anything. My method incorporated using Operatives disguise so you could chill by objective easily and wait for someone to attack objective. Next time when you try and bash someones solution just because it didnt work out well for you, know we are all here to help each other and post how we got our achievement.

Choose the first Resistance mission, set difficulty to easy, and make your class an Operative. Next go and either kill someone or find a corpse of an enemy and Hold X over his corpse to disguise yourself as an enemy.

Now all that is left is paying attention to both sides of the door until you see an enemy solider attempt to plant a bomb on the door. Make sure you have your strongest gun equipped and fire away at the enemy. When he is downed as he is attempting to plant the charge the achievement will pop.

**This method can easily be used on any mission but I found this to be easiest.***

This was the slowest longest and HaRDEST way to try to get this achievement! Dont even attempt this way , for i did and i wasted close to an hour.

There are missions where you will need to defend a certain location for a set amount of time before being able to progress, while the other team has to tear it down. The opposing team will either have to plant a Bomb or Hack a certain location. You will need to disrupt what the opposing team is doing at that time, whether it's one of the two and have him/her attack you before they complete the task (Before the bomb is planted or the Location is hacked) and kill him before he/she kills you.
