How to unlock the Now You Must Tell the Tale achievement in Brütal Legend - Definitive Guide

PROTIPS:
1.) Use the check marks at the bottom to keep track of which ones you have and which you don't

2.)If you have to leave your comp/360 for a bit but have not gotten all the items on a map section and fear that you'll lose your progress, just Print Screen and copy the images to a paint file so you have a record of which you have!

Legend #7 on this map will remain snow-covered and unattainable until you are captured by the Zaulia tribe (KISS Army) in the jungle.

How do you view a legend?

You view a legend by doing an earthquake jump (A + X) near the Legend and then pressing Y.

The last, 13th legend will not appear until after you finished the game.

@Mazrael -- same with me. I'm wondering if something happens to partially thaw the ice off. I've tried every fire attack I have and the snow/ice won't budge.

you have to play a little more into the game and it will thaw automatically

Certain Legends are locked until you get past a certain point in the game,

That snow-covered 7th one will thaw once you are captured by the Zaulia tribe (KISS Army) in the jungle.

the 7th one on the vid is iced up for me.. not completed the game yet though (gone straight for Brutal difficulty)..

To activate a legend all you do is be next to it and do a jump while playing the guitar, then get close to the blue orb and press y to view.

Great clear maps that show all collectibles divided by territories (Southwest, Northwest, Jungle, Central, Black Tears).

There are a total of 13 Legends you need to collect. Use Earthshaker (A+X) near them to break the chains then press Y near the blue sphere.
