The other thing to note (pun intended!) is to put the basic strings back on your guitar if you have upgraded. Whenever I went to stun a Ground Urchin with upgraded strings, I would end up killing it.

I swear I got it 2 times before it popped on the third. stupid achievement. If you are sprinting you can't use lightning so that threw me off a bit. Not to mention the one time the guy killed himself... with a ground urchin.. and it didn't count.. weak sauce

It is not possible to get these guys to stay around. As soon as your back is turned they run away to an insurmountable distance and even if you kill it the game doesn’t count it.

For them to not run away, you basically have to lock onto them (using the left trigger), then dodge their attacks towards an urchin. Get close enough, and right as they swing, shock the urchin, grab it, lock onto the tollusk, and fire away.

Of note: You cannot hit the Tollusk with any form of damage other than the tossed quills. I hit mine with some lightning to weaken it and got no achievement.

This is probably long past going to do much good, but if your in the area of the video there there is a chord object you can raise up. If you go straight from that object to the motorforge located near it there will be a small group of rocks you will pass (left side of you) if you lure a tollusk there, it will glitch and constantly stay there. No need to chase it down then.

this is easiest to get at the beginning of the game and anytime before "start a revolution" easiest to do at the start because enemies and your own men won t get in your way.

i also came across a Tollusk that did not run away once i picked up an Urchin...luck i guess

I couldn't agree more. I did this after I had completed the game and it was a pain to take one out without teammates "helping" or other enemy units getting in the way. Thumbs up.
