How to unlock the Dual Nebula achievement in Bully - Definitive Guide

This one gets easier as you play the arcade games. I honestly can not remember if the reward for beating all three was playing arcade games for free (most likely) or getting double the tickets (meh likely). Either way, I'll be as detailed as possible with tips to get the high score for all three games. In order from the last game to play to the first.

You can find all three games in the Souvenir tent located at the carnival. Consumo was the easiest for me to do, I would suggest doing this one last to hear that -ping- sooner for this trophy. In Consumo, you're a Sumo wrestler trying to get as fat as possible. Eating the healthy food adds on pounds, while eating rotten food takes it away. When it comes to the healthy foods, the differ in size from small, medium, and large. Whenever possible, take the bigger helping! Avoid other Sumos or else they may bump you into rotten food or pufferfish. If you hit a puffer, you lose a life. If you lose three lives, it's game over.

Monkey Fling was so weird. It was fun, but weird. You have to fling your poo to hit the bananas and spiders. I would play this game second for a good break. Make sure that you hit at least three bananas for each poo magazine to keep your monkey full. (I can't stop grinning, it's so ridiculous!) If you miss hitting a spider, they will crawl but only momentarily. The farther you are, the better if you miss one! As you play, you'll get better. This game was hard at first for me due to laughter and shock, but once I got into it I beat the high score no problem.

Nut Shots. This game took me the longest to get into, and I would suggest doing this one first. You have to shoot 10 bees to face a bat, and three bats to face an eagle. I moved up and down across the screen and looked out for the bees' stingers that they tossed at me. Take out as many as you can before the bat shows up, and take out the bat IMMEDIATELY before it can use it's sonar attack. You can rush towards it and maneuver around it, but the further it goes, the wider it gets and you'll miss your chance. Clear out all the bees before the eagle comes. Mash that X button, and when he throws the fish you can move up and around it. Repeat until you beat 169600 points. (It's ridiculously high.)

Second what HalfblindCloud says, definitely wait for the Nerd Challenge on Consumo, it requires you to beat the high score anyway.

Also, I have the official PS2 guide for this game and to confirm, the high scores will make the arcade games free to play.
Completing the class Photography 5 gives double carnival tickets :)

I just done it & found if i stayed near the right of the screen about a third away from it the enemies hardly manage to get a shot off & you can lay into the eagle & you will end up killing the salmon as well before it is fire, i got to 151,000 points this way then i had to killl myself as it started to get boring, its also best to do consumo at the nerd challenge as i done it at the carnival & now ive got to do it again for the challenge, so not happy about that

The three arcade games can be found in the Souvenir tent within the Carnival, which is located in the bottom left corner of the map. This area of the game becomes available during Chapter 2. Each game is a short arcade style game that costs $0.50 each time to play. You will need to beat the high score for Consumo for the Nerd Challenge side mission in Chapter 3, so to prevent having to play the game twice you can wait until this mission. Each game has a high score leaderboard and you need to beat the highest score, not just make it onto the leaderboard. Each game does not have a finish, so once you reach the required score, simply kill yourself to end the game and you will then see the leaderboard screen with your new high score.

You can check your progress towards high scores of each of the three arcade games in the Stats menu by pressing and then navigating to Stats > Games > Arcade Games.

Below is a walkthrough on how to play each of the three arcade games, including tips and strategies and a video walkthrough on how to beat each high score:

Consumo
High Score: 1010 lbs.

As previously stated this game can be played in the Souvenir Tent at the Carnival, or you can wait until the ‘Nerd Challenge’ mission in Chapter 3. In this game you control a sumo wrestler in a top down style game where you need to eat certain foods that pass across the screen in order to gain weight. Good foods include: rice, apples and fish. There are bad foods which make you lose weight, and include green rice, apple core and fish skeleton. There are also other sumo wrestlers and puffer fish which move across the screen. Hitting a sumo wrestler will cause you to bounce off them, while hitting a puffer fish will result in instant death. You are given three lives each game, and these can only be lost by hitting a puffer fish.

In the top right corner of the screen is a meter, and each time it is filled you will increase in size, and so will each of the items moving around the screen. You will also start to slow down in your movements, however this is beneficial as it gives you more time to avoid obstacles. You can control the sumo wrestler with either the or . I found the to be easier as you have more control. I also found it easiest to stay in the middle of the screen as much as possible as that way you can see where all items are coming from, giving you ample time to move out of the way of hazardous items. It is best not to take chances and just stay in the middle and wait for easy food items to pass near you. Don’t be a hero and run all over the place as it will be definitely have a bad time. Your weight is displayed in the top left of the screen. Once you reach 1010 lbs, you can keep playing or simply lose all your lives to end the game and register your score.

Nut Shots
High Score: 69,900

Nut Shots is a side-scrolling shooter where you control a flying squirrel and must shoot enemies to earn points. You can control the squirrel with either or the , and press or to fire. You have unlimited ammunition in this game and have three lives. You will lose a life if you are hit by enemy projectiles, or if you fly to low on the screen.

There are three types of enemies in which you will face, and killing each one will reward you with different amount of points. These include the following:

  • Bee: 250 points
  • Bat: 500 points
  • Eagle: 1000 points

You will first face waves of bees which shoot their stingers at you. They are easiest to defeat by moving up and down the screen continually firing. Just be careful not to fly to low as if you fly to low on the screen you will die. It’s best to stay as far to the left as possible so you have plenty of time to avoid the bee stingers. A single bat will then appear, and you will likely kill it before it has a chance to fire its sonic boom attack. If it does fire it, you will want to move forward and pass it before it gets too big as the attack increases in size as it moves from right to left. Once the Eagle spawns it will shoot salmon at you which will follow you to certain degree, but they are easy to avoid. Just keep shooting and you will kill it pretty quickly. The cycle then starts again with the bees. Each cycle is exactly the same in terms of difficulty.

Monkey Fling
High Score: 333

In this game you control a small monkey and will have to throw feces at bunches of bananas at the top of the screen as well as enemy spiders which fall from above you. You can control the monkey with or with the and to shoot press or . You have limited ammunition in this game, and can only hold nine bullets at one time. This is displayed in the top left of the screen. In order to replenish your ammunition you must pick up the bananas in which you have hit down.

For every bunch of bananas that you pick up after hitting them down you will receive 3 points. For every spider that you kill you will receive 2 points. The best strategy is to keep moving across the screen and focus on hitting the bananas. Once the spiders reach the ground they will only move a short distance towards you before they disappear. Only kill the ones that will likely hit you before they reach the ground. Try and keep a few bunches of bananas on the ground in case you run out of ammunition, as they will not disappear once they have been knocked to the ground. You have three lives in this game and the only way you will lose a life is if you are hit by a spider.

If you have problems with your record in Nut Shot, then there is a small bug in the game.

Play the slot machine so many times until a bat appears on the start screen with a hint about controls in the background, attacking the expected place where your squirrel will appear.

We wait until the mouse reaches your starting position (a landmark on the screen, a hint with the X button) and start the game, you immediately fall under the mouse and lose one life, after which you become immortal and now you can calmly gain 70k points for the trophy, the only way to die now is to fly to the bottom of the screen behind the trees.

Many people say that the mouse does not appear, it began to appear steadily for me after 5-7 attempts to play the slot machine, and I did this already in the 5th chapter of the plot
