How to unlock the Problem Child achievement in Bully - Definitive Guide
Even if you do the story missions and any errands, you won't come close to 160,000 trouble points, There are, however, a few things that can be done to gain massive points quickly.
On my own, I found that you can earn up to 8,000 trouble points just by going to the Warehouse in Blue Skies and destroying absolutely everything. If you're fast, you can do so twice (4,000 per time) before Jimmy passes out at 2 am. You can use the Townies safe house. It's literally right down the street and saves you on travel.
After google searching this problem, I found a post on psnprofiles.com by user DemonOutcast. Quote, "The way I did it was camping on the tree branch in Bullworth Vale. This area spawns infinite NPC's and will never catch you doing this. Your meter will rise up to 300 points when its empty. I discovered this by accident after doing cooks date." http://psnprofiles.com/forums/topic/36117-trouble-points/
This method also works well to get the points. You can use the lighthouse to rest to save travel time, and the lighthouse is available after you beat the Preps. There were many more suggestions in that thread as well, so the link is worth the click.
Regardless, you will have to grind for this one, I set aside a day to do all of the grind-worthy ones without interruptions, because there were so many.
Trouble points are earned by breaking rules, violent behavior and just being an all round trouble maker. Anything from beating people up, egging cars, to "tagging" on a wall or riding your skateboard inside the school will earn you trouble points. You will know if you are breaking the law as your trouble meter on the right hand side of the HUD will increase. Once it is completely full, law enforcement, e.g. Prefects or Policeman, will chase you and try and "bust" you. The longer this meter is full, the more trouble points you will earn. It’s worth noting that our total trouble points is cumulative, so you don’t need to earn 160,000 in one go.
You can track your progress for this trophy in the Stats menu by pressing and then navigating to Stats > Social > Authority > Trouble Points Accumulated.
Depending on your play style and how much trouble you cause throughout the game, you will likely not have unlocked this trophy by the time you have completed the main story. As such, you will need to grind the rest of the trouble points, which will likely be around 60,000. There are various methods which can reduce the amount of time it takes to earn the remainder of the points needed for the trophy. Some of these methods are outlined below:
Method #1: Go Kart
For this method you must have completed all eight Go Kart races across the Carnival and the Streets of Bullworth (see Pole Position and Speed Freak). This will then unlock the Go Kart within the school parking lot, allowing you to drive it around the town at your leisure. Once you have access to the Go Kart, drive it around the streets running over as many pedestrians as you can. This will cause the Police to chase you, but luckily the Go Kart is fast enough to easily outrun them all. However, to maximize the amount of Trouble Points you earn, keep your trouble meter full for as long as possible by staying within close distance of the police.
Method #2: Slingshot
For this method you will climb the tree in which you climbed during the Cook’s Date mission. The tree is located in the shops in Old Bullworth Vale, immediately North of the Aquaberry Clothing Store. Once you climb the tree, equip your slingshot and shoot everyone below you by holding and then pressing to fire. No one will be able to get you in the tree so you are free to shoot as many people as you like without worrying about being arrested. Also, pedestrians are infinitely spawning in this location so you will never run out of people to shoot.
Method #3: Dormroom Mayhem
By far the quickest method is to cause as much mayhem in your dorm as possible by knocking out all other students. The easiest way to do this is to have completed Chemistry 5 so you can make as many weapons as you want from your chemistry set in your room. The main weapon you want are firecrackers. Now you will want to pull the fire alarm which is located just outside of your bedroom. At this point throw as many firecrackers as you can at the students trying to flee the boys dorm. You should be able to knock out half a dozen or so. Once you run out of firecrackers, students, or the fire alarm ends, simply make more firecrackers and then trigger the fire alarm again. Repeat this process until you unlock the trophy. You should be able to earn approximately 20,000 trouble points per in-game day.
2) Pick up a slingshot.
3) Shoot adults (not children)
4) Shoot and wait to be caught.
5) We appear near the site.
6) We take the slingshot (while standing there) and immediately shoot at the adults again. (Click - We hold and press )
7) Do this until we get the trophy.
In 1 move they give 300-400 (time about 10 seconds).
