Heres how it goes.
At the end of the parking lot, there is a boat going in circles.
Dont try to jump on it because it is glitchy.
go for a swim, swim against the nose of the boat at let it pick you up. JUST SWIM, dont jump.
Wait until the Achievement will pop.
PS: for some reason it just works 1 time. then you need to restart the game.

Do this with the boats in the title update. These pick up fairly easy. Got picked up like 4-5 times.

You don't use the boat at the back of the main map for this achievement anymore.
- Purchase and put on a "lifebuoy" (AKA "life ring"; available for 1 ticket at the wheeled shoe).
- Go on Summer Vacation (20 tickets) using the kiosk near the carrot farm.
- Swim to any boat and you'll be picked up just as with the cars.

30/11/2022 - I did manage to get this on the main map somehow?
I couldn't get it to work, so I went back to the menu, and started the game again.
I ran to the lake with the statue in the middle (auto run turned on), with the sailing boat going round and round it, and I didn't jump even once. I dropped into the water in front of the boat, where it comes near the shore (near the pedestrian crossing / traffic light), and waited for it to bump into me.
It did bump into me, and it picked me up onto the very front of the ship, and I just waited until it popped, which took a few seconds.
