Take on an Autolog “Beat You” Recommendation and beat your Friend's score

How to unlock the Fighting Back achievement in Burnout CRASH! - Definitive Guide

Note that you must beat a "BEAT YOU" recommendation. This is different than a simple "Friend X is now in a better position". If you simply set a low score with your other account on your first try, you won't get a "Beat You" recommendation, just the other one, and won't be able to get the achievement.

Step by step method I used :

1. Set a low, but not abysmally low high score on a stage, say about 2-3 millions on an early stage. You'll have to play this far with your second account, so try to use an as early stage as possible. As for the mode, it is easier on Road Trip as waiting to lose 5 lives is the fastest way to end an event, but Rush Hour is easy too, albeit a bit longer as you'll have to wait 90 seconds (and you have to unlock it in the first place).

2. Log on your second account. Play a first time on the low score stage and score even lower. You can easily score really low by crashing into the first car you meet, then immediately perform a crash breaker to get it off the road, while getting you off the road aswell, using the stick. Then, wait for the event to end without any further crash and you'll likelly score under a million.

3. You can now set the "Beat You". Replay the same event, this time scoring above your main account's best. But not too high, try to get about 5 millions points, above the set score, but still easy to beat.

4. Now log back into your main account and check the Autolog Recommendations. You should find a "Friend X beat you on level Y", and that's the recommendation you want to take on. If there is still (unlikely) a "Friend X is now on position Z", repeat step 3 on your second account.

Now be sure to take on the challenge from the Autolog menu and feel free to trash your low score. You should unlock the achievement at the end of the event.

Yea, I thought servers were shutting down at the end of this month. Any word on what's going on?

I talked with EA customer support, they said the servers were supposed to be up and encouraged me to post on the forums, but people have already been doing that and have been ignored for 2 months now. So yeah, I think we are screwed on this one.

I just wanted to add something that just happened to me that seemed interesting. While following this solution, during step 4 when I logged back into my account, the game gave me an error message at the start saying it couldn't connect to Autolog. But when I manually checked the Autolog Recommendations, it had the "XXX Beat You" entry with a displayed score of 0. When loading the level, the game said I had to beat XXX's score by $0 in order to reclaim my spot. It may require some playing around to see if it's repeatable, or if it was just a one-time glitch, but it could go towards making this achievement even easier to get.

I advise you to be one of the first to get this trophy.

1) Go to the very first intersection and dial about 200,000 there. Then you let 5 cars pass.

2) From the second account, beat your record, but so that it is approximately 300,000.

3) Go to Autolog Recommendations, there should be an inscription Beat you on the message that your record has been broken. We break the record of 300,000 points and the trophy is yours.

PS. I actually had to break the record again from a different account, and after I broke the record for the second time, then the trophy was credited to me. I could not understand what the glitch was connected with. Perhaps the message Beat you (Beat you again) should appear
